Symon's eyes light up, and he nods. Taking Dagmar's hand, he starts to retrace their steps.

He turns sideways, and takes a step to the side - which is now forward.

And finds himself back at the starting point.

Then he thinks, and narrows his eyes, looking over the path. Kenning to see if there is any illusion in place.

No illusion, definitely some sort of chornos path on the trod, this part of it

"Okay, maybe we see how long it is? Count steps?"

Symon pauses, and nods. Tis time, he lets Dagmar proceed ahead of him to watch. Does she loop around back to where he is?

If this is done, he notices it is never the first action. Usually the third

"Here, step with me."

He attempts - one step, two steps, and then a pause, and he holds her hand. "Leap!"

Attempting a leap forward, perhaps a quantum leap as it were.

Whether they moved beyond the area of effect, or managed some 'math trick' to get out, it appears to work. Felt like it took hours to go five feet but theyr'e on the road again

A flush of purple and a smaller smile.

Glad to on their way and feeling mutually smug, the two find the terrain is turning less forest and more glen... could they be at the end of their quest?

A comforting (well, damp and unpleasant) hand squeeze, and he is ready to proceed.

They move on... and hear music from the side, really nice actually...

ALmost.. enticing... surely this little side path is where they want to go.. right? Go and dance?

Symon blinks. "No, I never want to dance. Nice try."

A scowl at the path. "Try harder next time." A pause. "Or not."

The dreaming gets offended, and the music gets even more enticing
