An hour.... or two... time flies when you are enjoying yourself.

By then August has some good book titles and authors to look up and collect when he gets home. For now, it seems Tziporah is done too "Okay. That was nice"

"Very generous of the Duke to allow us access." he agrees as they leave.

They depart and Tziporah asks "Why DID you pick that sword?"

"It... felt right."

"Then you were wise to take it." She agrees

The two make their way down the halls, only to see a boggan childling, one of Cauly's friends.

"I earnestly strive to that end. Thank you." he says to Tziporah, and nods to the childling.

"Hello, Baron. You may not remember my name. I'm Delia. I'm supposed to make sure you and Miss Tziporah don't get in more trouble and us not know about it. " She says "Duchess' orders"

Tzioporah looks at August "I miss something?"

"Ah. I, ah, couldn't say." August clears his throat "I am not, by nature, a troublemaker."

"oh but Baron I've been asking around. You get into a lot of stuff" The boggan beams "you wooed a fiery redheaded Fiona lady and gained a co rulership which you don't use... but why? Folks find it VERY suspicious. SOME..." Delia whispers "Think that you are the power behind the throne."

That causes Tziporah to laugh softly "Ah, the Baron is a good man, and leads a banner house, but uhm.." A look at August "Pardon me for saying so, but .." back to the child "Even the man she loves does not TELL Baroness Coradel 'Gives em hell' Truthbranch what to do"

August pinks a bit, but keeps his composure "Ah, yes. Coradel is very much the ruler of EarthRunes. She has a number of counselors she relies on for guidance and advice, but she is her own decision-maker."

"Yes, Coradel is the Decidinator" Tziip says with gentle humor "If you ever get to meet her, ask her opinion on some things. You'll likely get it. But she loves her people dearly. Anyone can see it"

"The Decidinator" Delia says "What a COOL title" . It is possible that Coradel will become 'the decidinator Coradel' in the local gossip mill soon.

"Ahhh... yes."

"She is most dedicated to the Barony, and her people."

The boggan nods "Can I visit her sometime you think?"

"I, ah, I don't keep her calendar and you no doubt would need to arrange such travel with your mentor or a guardian but, ah, if approved I... don't see why not."

"Thank you, Baron. You're nice" Delia says "So did you get to see the main library?"

"We did; it is a testament to the Duke's interests and the Duchy's strengths."

"It IS very nice. There's a smaller library with Childling books near us if you want to see it, and another with engineering stuff... and, well, there's the OTHER Place but it's not meant to be open"

"Not meant to be." he says in a way that suggests it -can- be open to those with the right skills....

"It's the Seer's private collection, more of a study with a lot of books" The little boggan says

"Ahh." August nods, understanding "Knowledge of that sort can be dangerous."

Tziporah looks at August and mouths 'I wonder if Zara is in there already?'

A very slight nod; he wondered the same.

"I'd show you but the Seer wouldn't want you there" the childling observes

"Best not to upset Seers." August agrees.

"Yeah, they do hoodoo on you for poking around" Delia nods

"Oh I could tell you stories" The Eshu assures

"Could, and will." August says with gentle good humor.

Tzip chuckles at that "Well, yes"

The little boggan shows them other places of possible interest to her, if not them, including the waterfall room. Yes, there's a room with a waterfall in it.

August enjoys the tour, without other pressing matters.

August is no boggan, but as he walks down one hallway, he is sure something is wrong. He sees another sidhe wilder walking by... are those tears welling her eyes?

OOC Describe the wilder please?

OOC: I could be lazy and say 'purty, pointy ears,' 😉 But sec.

BIC: She wears Dougal colors, there are many of them here. She has medium length raven hair but has co opted nocker styles by patterning purple spirals within them in geometric patterns. A tattoo along her left arm does much the same. He doesn't see a handicap and chimerical compensator at first. She is not the loveliest sidhe, but of course, as a sidhe she cannot be ugly. She appears to be close to 20 but who knows how much time she's spent in a freehold.

"Will you ladies excuse me a moment?" he murmurs politely.

"Sure," Delia says "Tziporahh can tell me a story"

He nods to them, and the approaches, in as non-creepy a way as possible, the Dougal Sidhe. "I beg your pardon, miss?" (Unless there is a mark of rank?)

She turns, then her eyes fall on him "Ah, you must be Baron Truthbranch" She gives a curtsy "Journeywoman Gelcura. Pardon, Baron. If I gave you a dirty look, I apologize. I should in fact be grateful."

He bows in return. "Not at all, Journeywoman; I am Baron Truthbranch, yes. I'm not aware of any action on my part that would inspire gratitude?"

"Your actions helped reveal that my paramour was a Balor traitor, and not the man I thought he was" He can see her tongue briefly. It shines silver.

"Ah." he sobers "I regret such an action was necessary, Journeywoman; I truly do. Are you well?"
