The rocket appears to be an escape vehicle for Darespark and the Sidhe, and who knows what gadgets inside! So she can flee and start all over elsewhere!

The switch needs to be flipped to unlock the docking clamps , and he's prevented that. He could remove the screws out of the lever, and make it very hard indeed

He does just that, with the tip of his dagger or whatever else will work.

It works fine...

and the rocket starts to roar... but strains and goes nowhere!

It strikes August, now, that certain elements of physics might be at play here, to his potential detriment.... he looks for a way to shut down the launch effort.

Even if he had the Art, he doesn't have the Realm. And all he has is a dagger.... is there a door into the ship, or either occupant visible?

There is a door, sealed currently, but he might be able to get to it if he can avoid being burned.
