And from inside the septagon, they hear a female voice going "So you see,this device kills spiders, and listens to me when I've had a bad day, and tells me I look great in pants.... it's going to make boyfriends obselete"

"Oof. Let's find a place to sit down. Isn't there a machine to automate this paperwork yet?" Art says, his cheeks pink.

"Did that just happen?"

"Yes, I'm sorry if it was forw-" He says, his cheeks even pinker, then - "Oh! The Mark! Yes! You did it!"

"It totally just happened" Gwen says stunned. She looks around for a place that has food maybe? And yes, a place to sit

Averting his gaze.

There is a massive... and I mean MASSIVE... vending machine with a few tables in front of it. The machine takes up most of a wall, in fact.

"over there" Gwen says

Coke, skittles (CHIME!), chips... but also fried chicken, burgers, pizza, filet mignon... all promised with a big neon banner that proclaims, "YOUR MEAL GRANTED WITHIN 10% OF ACCURACY OR YOUR MONEY BACK*"

Thistle is still blushing.

Suddenly, blushing quite a lot - eyes widening

She stares at Art.

Gwen gets a table for them, and..gives them a bit of space as she does so

He is examining the vending wall QUITE THOROUGHLY... pink up to the ear tips.

"Art?"

"Uh, yes, Thistle?" Still not looking back, nope...

A pigeon lands on Gwen's shoulder.

Gwen eyes the pigeon "Don't even think about it"

"You...."

A second shows up. Then a third. Perching on the nice statue.

"I. Um." He responds, kinda. "Was I too... forward?" Pink turning to red on his ear tips, any darker and they will rival the purple star on his back.

Gwen really wishes Ivan were here.

"No."

"It... you got caught up in the moment..." Spirals shimmer a delicate blue - what's this one?

"Or you didn't..."

"I, um. It was the moment."

"And, I wanted to."

Pink cheeks and coral spirals!

"It was a nice moment." She ventures.

"It... it was." Gwen might be able to see a goofy little smile on his face, though he still faces the vending machines.

"I didn't, um. Ruin it?"

A 4th pigeon eyes Gwen's head.

"No!"

"You never ruin any moments. Not for me."

An explosion of feathers as the birds all scatter at the Nockerish exclamation!

Citrine laughs and chases one that is falling through the air.

Gwen is focusing on her cellphone texting chuck some private stuff

Feathers fall on her phone. Fluffy ones!

A sigh

Apparently the pigeons here know to flee when a nocker speaks.

Art cautiously turns back around, and gives Thistle a little smile. "I will strive to continue that record, then."

"Sounds like a good plan." A nervous smile.

"I'll get some snacks while you fill that out?" He offers. "I think Citrine earned her candy today, unless she is grounded for running off."

CHIME? CHIME! Insistent negation!

A glance over from texting "I could use something to eat too Art"

"Right! Forms!"
