The place that Thistle is brought to is outside of the Caldera proper, but neither is it in one of the scattered cities. Surrounded by fields - or what once were fields, now gone wild and overgrown, there is the remnants of a manor. Blue is an overwhelming color in the fields, even now when native plants have intruded and restored their place amongst the indigo. Much of it is run down and destroyed, by ash or heat or lava or just neglect, but a few of the buildings have been restored, enough to support - no longer a plantation, but a thriving livelihood none the less.
Big bonfire pits are set out, and a massive domed structure - big enough to walk into and do a little dance, if one were inclined, catch Thistle’s eyes.
