Chieftess Saoirse has approached the healers, though she did not seem to wish to speak to Omario himself- a discussion reassuring that he is going to recover.

A look at Thistle, "I know this is so not about me, but I swear if I meet that guy in neutral turf I may slap him around for an hour and a half" She mutters

Niamh is offering a towel to Thistle.

She takes the towel with a thanks.

"Wouldn't blame you. Though that ass projects more than a lighthouse."

Art shakes his head. “Lighthouses are HELPFUL.”

"Point."

Citrine zips around, exploring, and Niamh’s head turns to follow her with a smile.

“Are there many like her where you are from?”

"Dozens, yeah! I see them about everywhere."

"They're all dumb as a box of rocks."

A snort at Art

then she says "Though Citrine is... kind upgraded"

"She has TWO braincells."

A shifting bit of variegated green- a flytrap-type plant, chimerical, is opening in a welcoming gesture as Citrine zips past. A bright red dot inside, it almost looks like- a pice of candy?

"Oy, idjit! Over here!"

Citrine buzzes back over, without having noticed the temptation.

Niamh shakes her head. “I'll ask Seamus to weed that out. The small ones take care of insects, but the bigger they get, they can be dangerous. Start showing things like toys off the main paths where children run.” She doesn't seem to consider herself in that category.

A brow quirk.

"How long since you've been a kid, yourself, Niamh?"

“Do you have a book of local flora and fauna?” Art asks, curiously.

The little selkie considers. “There are some story books, pictures, flash cards, for the little ones.” Art looks bothered by the answer.

Niamh thinks over Thistle’s question. “I was needed.”

She nods. "That can be hard."

She smiles. “I like being able to help. Tell me more of your friends?” Watching Citrine. “Would they like it here? Are they very different? We have all sorts of insects and flying things. Burrowing and scaled, and the ocean… well, completely new.”

"Oh, they would love it here. All the colors? They like shiny things, and music, and sugar."

A giggle. “So do I.”

Gladiola can't help but be a little on guard

"Well, they're fun things! What kind of music do you like?"

“Lots! Drums, guitar, maracas- salsa, calypso, reggae.”

“I don’t play, but I like to listen.”

"I get that."

"mmm makes me wish I had my flute"

"I play a mean radio."

Art gives Gwen a curious glance. “I didn’t know you played.”

"Oh yeah, music class... I don't make a big deal of it" She lowers her voice "if I did, the Baron and Baroness would have me right by D'Lorean's harp during parties. Yikes. No thank you. But it's soothing"

"Hunh."

"And seriously, Thistle? I've wondered if you knew how to MAKE a flute. I mean, the colors you'd have on it would be wild"

Art smiles. “We might not get a band together, but I'd like to hear it.”

"I could figure it out!"

"That would be awesome. I don't know if I've ever worked with a clay or ceremic flute. Metal and wood sure"

“We have clay workers.” Niamh mentions. “I like to watch sometimes.”

"Oh cool, after the challenges maybe we could watch one, see I don't have the knack for crafting. Though I can cook a little. Thistle is a wizardress with the stuff, she can put the colors of a sunrise into a cooking bowl"

"Oh! I would like to see that! I do... I mess around a little, with clay."

"A little" mmph "You're amazing, and I'm tired of pretending your not"

“Do you have a Pugmill? I like him. Sometimes I get to feed him.”

"Wait - your Pugmill's alive? Like a chimera?"

“They feed him scraps and broken pieces and he…” she giggles, covering it with a hand. “Recycles it!”

"Dude!"

"What's a pugmill?"

"Pugmills like... reclaim and mix clay? They're a cool machine."
