Symon points to the menu and asks Dagmar, "Do you think you get an actual head?"

Dagmar makes a face. "Given some of the stuff Tove eats? Maybe..."

He chortles. "If Sylvi was here... but nah. I'm good with just the Lutefisk." Placing his order.

Bilbo is likely wagging!

"I like this place." Dag says, looking around at the helms

"A little kitchshy, but not bad." He allows. "Did you see that pike up there? Looks real."

A nod! "Be great against something big..."

"You think you could take Mugo in his big form? Just theoretically, of course."

She squints, thinking. "Probably not alone. Be a challenge with help."

"bigger they are, harder they fall. I'd try to trip him into the shallows, then just need to hold him down long enough." He considers.

"Yeah, okay... smart."

"But also not smart? I mean, he's better as an ally."

Tess shows up ready to take their order

Meatballs and potatoes for Dag - Lutefisk for Symon, and is there something safe for Bilbo?

She looks down at Bilbo "That little fellow, sure? Chicken should be safe..." then the door swings open... and magic fills the air

Dagmar can't quite break it. So far this doesn't stop her duty, or work against an oath. If her friend or bilbo gets endangered, that'll be another thing

Tess stands straight at attention, this close to saluting

And the herald , barely giving the others consideration, unfolds a scroll and begins to read. They must hear him out, it's polite

"Hear ye, Hear ye... let it be known that her excellency, Countess Edrit has decreed that the hours common folk will be admited to court have been reduced between the hours of 10 o the morning bell till 1 of the after noon , only upon Tyrsday, Thorsday, and the Day of the Sun. She grieves for her loss and has little time for your selfish concerns now. This situation will alter in time, but now, she grows weary of your ingrateful whinings. Pester your barons if they will have you. We continue to investigate the theft. This decree stands as of this day (He names it) until withdrawn or altered. This is her will, this is her word. Ignorance of this new dictate will be no defense if it is violated."

Brow furrow and a small nod.

Others nod too, but silently. The unenchanted mortals keep eating

Then, the herald turns, and walks out...

And Tess flushes with embarrassment, as do a few other kithian in the kitchen and one fellow at a table

"Hmph. Sounds like a story there."

Symon had been staring at the herald with narrowed eyes. Did he have any house insignia?

Also... He checks his phone. Trods make time funny. What day is it, and what time currently?

Looks like it's Plot Convience O clock... but at least they didn't miss Beltaine

And while the guy wore heraldry, it was Hold Heraldry, not house.... twin towers.. light houses, a single snowflake centered above them
