As they leave Mugo's boat, there is that not unusual sensation of being less as they return to the Autumn world. That said as cities go, they've both seen worse.

They are, after all, from New Jersey.

To enchanted eyes, it seems Duluth's tourism and cargo focus has given it a really odd mix of Nordic steampunk

One might suspect htat in addition to the Trolls , Nockers and boggans work well here

"Huh. Why do I want to see tulips?"

Bilbo wags furiously and looks about

"Tulips? No clue."

"Well, Bilbo seems happy. We're almost there, buddy."

There they are, lost in a strange city they know nothing of... how can they find their way, how can they possibly survive?

Alas, the 21st Century tech kills all kinds of challenges and they can easily pull up a map and GPS on their phones if they wish

"Okay, so... walking directions..."

Fortunately, they know the mortal location of atl east one hold, even if it is a baron's. They could try to get passage to the scenic stuff and hope to stumble onto the Countess hold OR...

they could look for kithain for more details

but the good news? They're no longer lost ish. THere's a list of restaurants and shops, etc. And, they are possibly feeling a bit peckish

Anywhere korean?

"You can get something if you want. I have some fruit snacks." Dagmar has seen Symons snacks before - they were fruit once. Now they're more tempting to flies, but are mostly dried.

There's a vietnamese place not far, as well as the standard franchises

"I wonder if there's a joint that'd do lutefisk here."

"You and Tove, I swear."

Now THAT perks his interest.

Norway Cafe says one location, Lutefisk a speciality! It's a bit further than than a wendy's but hey

"Yeah, uh-huh. You can eat there, and maybe we'll either find somebody blue or an owl."

"Or more of your cousins, after that stuff."

"Yeah, good thinking. Think they'll have something for you? A smorgasbord?"

"For a light snack."

And so, returned to the Autumn world of Minnesota, or as Trolls call it 'Minngard', the heroes make their way towards Norway Cafe. By Odin's beard, their logo appears to be a Laughing Lutefisk on a swinging wooden sign. It's kind of out of the way of the main traffic, but the SIZE of the door hints that it's used to tall customers.

A soft chuff.

"I'm sure I can get a sandwich."

As they enter in, they find it kind of folksy, a bit touristy but only enough to poke fun at itself. What looks to mortal eyes like cardboard helmets (With horns, which is wrong) or longships designs... to enchanted, their true nature is revealed. There are true helps in niches in the wall, true weapons strapped there. Clearly there is a changeling at work here, at least musing. It is no hold, but it has signs of Kithain action and care

Symon lets Dagmar take the lead, but he keeps a wary eye out, just in case it is not as innocent as it appears.

"Oh, new comers, don'tcha know" A voice chimes in an accent that might be alien to New Jersey types "I got this Christine" //"Sure thing, Tess" Another voice says

"Tess" turns out to be a troll of unusual looks. While not morbidly obese, there is a plumpness to her that makes her look softer than other trolls- at first glance. Of course, a focus to her shoulders or watching her when she lifts trays might reveal that under that doughy outer level, there's still muscle. Troll Birthrights are a thing.

"I see you guys" She says, with a wink as a clue to them being fellow kithain "Corner table okay?"

"Corner would be great. Nice and quiet."

And to the corner they go

Dagmar wavers, wanting to take the gunslinger seat herself to keep an eye on the room - but Symon might prefer the vantage. Bilbo is in the carrier, for now.

"Cute critter" Tess says

"He won't be trouble." A promise. Whether she means Bilbo or Symon...

"You two want a menu?"

"Yes please."

She hands one to each "I'll give you a bit"

The menu has Lutefisk, but a lot of Scandinavian meals old and modern and yes, some Americanized with a little descriptor on the side

No lutefisk for Dagmar - but hearty something-something and potatoes.

Most likely she passed on the Smalahove aka Sheep’s Head

Dumplings, pork, potatoes.
