Jonas considers "Seems running away works bettter if you talk first..."

A nod! "I'll try to remember what I told that Cyclops, too. If the dreaming doesn't melt it from my mind, I really WILL talk about Cyclopses.."

"That's honorable" Jonas approves

"I mean, it doesn't cost me anything to do... though it might make him stronger, and if so, he might just cause MORE trouble..." She ponders. "But, that's the NEXT person's problem."

"Or maybe nneeds work" Jonas says "But seelie or un we love you"

They get clear of the cyclops throw range, and...behold a reward, in the form of a great view, from here , the trod goes down into a glorious and green valley

"Ooooooo! It's so lovely!"

"And... it's singing"

Jonas has tilted his head

Piper cocks her head similarly, listening.

Eyes wide with surprise. "They're singing.. about us!"

"Long as they don't start singing 'suicide is painless' or something" Zane says

As they move, she can see the valley has something akin to marble picknick tables. Food adores them, a cornicopia on each one, some horns of plenty filled with fruit (Snow would explode), some with sweets, and so on

Piper swallows. "I suppose that's all off limits."

"First rule, never leave the trod"

Then she sees who is putting things on tables, at least, one of them...

"I knooooow." She double-takes at THAT fellow... then turns, and resolutely wraps an arm through Jonas's. "We've got abs at HOME."

Zane leers with a bit of a sigh then follows the two.

Jonas nods, "mmm so, want me to do some chores shirtless when we get home?" a bit of a promise there

"Maybe if you have time when I'm done with you." More than a promise there, it might actually be a threat. Then again, is it really 'threatening' if you welcome it?

Jonas eyes sparkle a bit and he nods

"I take it if we find a ... trod safenook somewhere you guys are going to want to have ... private break?" Zane asks

A grin, "I'd like to wait until we get home... but we'll see, if they keep waving all this candy at me, I'm gonna end up with a sweet tooth."

"I'm going to end up at the self service pumps" Zane grouses

"Ah, I did not need ot hear that, Zane" Jonas informs him

"Seriously, no one at Dark Gate has made a pass for the Hero's magic Staff?"

"Oh.. well yeah, but that was like HOURS ago" Zane grins

A laugh! "Well, see if you can't find some other traveler along the way. If the need is great, and the heart is true, the dreaming should provide for you." A wink.

"Hey, that rhymes" They move along ignoring many delicious smelling (And good looking) temptations to step off the trod.

"Note to self - next time, bring one of those 'grabber' arms."

"That would cause them to yelp" Jonas says deadpan as he eyes another topless beefcake server

Piper has her arm around Jonas now, wrapped so that she can slide her hand under his shirt to rest on his OWN abs. She still watches the show, but her touch is all for him.

The valley is one of the loveliest areas she's seen, which is why, after walking what feels like an hour, when they see smoke, it might be alarming.. a wave of heat... as a Cali girl, she knows a wildfire when she sees one
