Piper the Rainbird, Thundercaller, Stormwing circles the cloud, swooping through it, and sings out with all the power she can muster. Seeking the core of the storm, the seeds of rain within the cloud, and also, in the forest below, she calls to anyone who may listen, encouraging them to answer back to the plea for rain.
The words come to her, soft at first, and then louder.
"I didn't ask for a free ride
I only asked you to show me a real good time...
I never asked for the rainfall
At least I showed up, you showed me nothing at all."
Calling the thunder to serve as her percussion, the lightning to guide her notes.
It's coming down on me
Water like misery
It's coming down on me
I'm ready, rain on me
I'd rather be dry, but at least I'm alive
Rain on me, rain, rain
Rain on me, rain, rain
I'd rather be dry, but at least I'm alive
Rain on me, rain, rain
Rain on me!
