The lodge is understandably packed. Brekke is there. Frank is there. Dagmar is there. Tove and Connor and Jack are not there

Brekke nods grimly. "Thank you, Nadeen." She looks around the group. "Dagmar will be with me as my second."

Kerri says, "I don't think they will appreciate us sending a circus...and I suspect they are waiting for the Lodge to be under-staffed."

A nod from the Chieftain. "So...a small group." She looks to Frank.

Vali grunts "I'm healed. Tiffany's in great shape. You need us on home patrol with Lut and Tig, we're here"

Frank takes a deep breath; and a grump male troll has LUNGS.

Dag has her jaw set, the scowl probably a shield against showing nerves.

"Chieftess, I'd like to go with you."

"Mountain, I wish it," Brekke nods solemnly. Then another nod to Vali. "Yes, you will be needed here."

Frank exhales slowly and he nods.

Brekke looks to Kerri. "I know you will take care of all, Hearth."

Kerri nods with a half-grin. "Of course, Chieftain. As ever. Until you get back."

Olgar grunts "Trods are being watched by some extras. Called in some favors"

"Many thanks, Rover." Brekke looks around the group once more. "You all have done much to strengthen and protect this Lodge and its people. I thank you."

"I am so sorry about... everything" Annne Marie says

Her husband, enchanted frowns at this

"No. You must not be. None of this is your doing. It is entirely Gildas's work, and he is about to pay for it."

Symon leans over and whispers to his mom, something encouraging.

Anne marie looks ready to protest some more, but whatever Symon whispers quiets her

"It will cost him everything" Nadeen says

Grunt of agreement.

"And then the others of our land may return. Let us be done with this." She stands. "Let us go."

Frank picks up his duffle bag; some may know it as his 'go-bag.' He's ready to follow.

Zane says "Piper says Siv is mending, just very slowly. She says 'kick his ass'"

Frank nods to Zane. He looks at Vali. "You are Mountain in my stead. You have excellent Pillars to aid you."

"I do" he nods

Zane for one blushes

Brekke nods, and looks to Olgar. "You are the Storm's fury, when it is needed."

Olgar grunts "Cushy seat. I'll keep it warm"

"Mm." One more look around, and a look to the Balefire. Then she turns and heads for the door.

Dagmar follows, carrying the staves.

And off they go... there are no sniping attempts, no last minute assassinations. It wouldn't likey work anyway. Trolls at war seldom let things slip into their shadows.

Time passes, and they arrive at the locale provided. It is cold, but private enough. At one time, this baseball diamond had little league games before that died out. Deserted, there is question of whether it will come back once Covid is over or not. Already veils and protocols await, the veils to turn aside the mortal eyes. A police officer... troll that is, is in the area to drive off any mortals it should fail on.

Brekke scans the perimeter, wary.

Dame Lavennder D'Lorean rides up on her horse, and greets them, with a special smile for Dagmar, but her horse and she bow as one to the Chieftain. It would appear they have escort.
