Splats of Svart brain are.. everywhere

Lovecraft chases a loose bouncing eye!

The last Svart looks about at this carnage and calls out "I surrender!"

She grunts. "Good."

"You are a better person than I" The spear woman who fought by her side says "I'm tempted to gut this dog, but.. honor is honor"

"Honor is honor" says the warrior man who dived for cover "But I hope we don't regret it"

"The dog isn't culpable."

"Fine, you blackguard. I will accept your surrender - leave your weapons, and flee that way as fast as you may." She points AWAY from the river and the boat.

The serpent plops out onto the land...and coughs...shrinking

Symon comes out of hiding, arms up in the air in a surrender posture lest he be confused for one of the invaders.

Kneeling, he offers a hand out for Quetz to slither up. "Get a good meal?"

Quetz has passed out. It's clear that wasn't a trick he can do often

He scoops him up, then, and curls him protectively inside of his shirt, against the sluagh's skin. Not warm, but warmer than the outside.

"You are mercififul. Had we known of a Thunderheart being here, we'd not have tried." And the Svart leaves his weapons "All this ...for a damn map" And starts to move away

She glowers. "Move faster."

And the figure does

"I am Fornson, son of Forn" One of the human warriors says "Shay the Spearmaiden you know if not by name. This is Lefi" to the other guy "And that is Daka" to the other woman "We are in your debt"

She looks at the humans. "You're with the boat? I'm Dagmar Hammerstrike, and my companion is Symon. We're allies of the Silverhand."

He moves to her side, stepping over corpses with a mild look of glee. "Glad we could help."

"You know the Silverhand? " impressed "She is legend"

She shakes her head. "I know of her, and have pledged to serve her code and ideals."

"My mentor, though, who trained me? She is a breaker-of-shackles, and I feel like I know the Silverhand through her, even though I come from a different land."

Symon just nods, and lets his gaze travel over the carnage. Not looting, but... looking, just in case...

"This breaker of shackles is unknown to us, but we have learned chains upon the innocent is a crime to the gods" a nod

Dagmar nods.

"Now, I hate to sound like the Svartzen... but better to be upfront. Me and my companion are seeking a fragment of a map. Possibly the same one as your foes. I would like the chance to show I mean well."

Symon finds a pair of shoes that ken powerfully

He drifts that way and checks them out.

"A fragment of a map?" Fornson exchanges looks with the others "May I ask why you seek it?"

"As part of a quest. We have already gathered the other four."

"It is our quest" another lady says "To make sure it does not fall intothe hands of the Svart or fell hearts."

She nods.

"Others have sought it, and I have fought them."

"I would ask the chance to prove my intent."

the Boots are dark, soft, and.. about Symon's size

He kenns them a bit more... not any of that nasty dark glamour flavor on these?

No, not.. nasty, still a bit dark, but not that fomor shit

"It is a fair thing you ask.. but alas, we do not know where is anymore. We but told our companion to take it and flee. not where to go"

"But they were on that boat?"

"As was the scrap of the map" A nod

He picks them up and slides back over to Dagmar's side. "Think they'd mind if I held onto these?"

"Taken by battle? You've the right to it" Daka eyes Symon "You are a sly scrawny one." She appraises "I like sly scrawny ones"

"Seems valid. Bounty." Star is slipped the Nice Apple.

"Now, Fornson, Shay, Daka... may I use your names when I approach those on the boat?"

"Our lives and are names are tied, you saved one.. you may speak the other as far as I see it " Shay nods and looks to the others who also nod

"Thank you. We can't wait around long if we want to stand a chance at catching up with the boat..."

"Then, follow the river. And Gods be with you" Fornson nods..

"A pity you can't linger" Daka eyes Symon still
