"You gonna be pissed if Dagmar uses her judgement when she wins?"

"You haven't told us what it leads to. We don't know the value."

He points out.

"Well seeing she agreed , as did you, to under take the quest and get all five pieces, I'd be annoyed yeah. I mean, you told me you would. "

He counter points

"Sy..."

"If you guys really want to stop, I can take it from here," He says, not testily, an honest offer.

"Hey, we aren't quitters!"

"I just would prefer not to get into a life-or-death fight if avoidable."

"Who does ? tell them you want protocals, both to keep Gwydion rage in check, and to stop the last killing blow on either side. Mitra can arrange it "

"I'm just saying. I'm not holding Dagmar to anything that goes against what SHE thinks is right. And you should know better than to ask that, Blue boy."

Then he shrugs a bit, and mutters. "Sorry."

Realizing belatedly that he's shooting off his mouth.

Vali arches a brow "It's SIR Blueboy, if we must get huffy. Symon... are you okay?"

"It's been a busy few days." He sinks into himself a little.

He double kens "I thought that dark glamour got out on you, but Lolly is enough to rattle anyone's sense of.. everything. Look, Symon, I've already told you guys at the start what the prirory of the mission is, and you guys agreed to it. Backtracking on the deal might work for Vader, but not for lodgemates. I trust her judgement, and if you guys find a away to get extra treasures or prizes I am all for it.. I just want to be sure that .." then he sniffs the air "Wait, did you get something from Sweet Sorrows?"

Brow furrow.

He arches a brow. "Just some baked things. Why?"

"Maybe."

A hidden grin to Dagmar.

"Just some baked things? You guys darn well know that those are some of the best beignet ever"

He relaxes, the tension fading a little as the talk moves to baked goods.

"Ohhh, you want some?"

"You're a Gwydion, if I said no you'd know I was lying"

"The bag is in the Kitchen, if Gerd left you any. And Connor was in there, too..." Glancing that way.

Dagmar hears the... ping

"Oh yeah, while you're here you might want to talk to Connor and let him fill you in on how awesome he's being. Gerd's been supportive big sis gal, and your folks are great, but he misses you, not trying to guilt trip and your choice, but you might want to let him know you're almost done and heard good things" He says to Dagmar. As tempting as the pastries are, it appears the boy's happiness is more important

Brow.

"Oh, I heard! Dogmar!"

"Yup. Little Drag Queen he" Amusment

"So, you want to talk to him now? I mean, I didnt' know he was in the kitchen but for you he'd show up"

"Well, I am proud of him..."

Symon sliiiiinks towards the wall.

"then tell him" Vali turns to the kitchen "Hey, Connor? Err Dogmar?"

No one here. Just us tapestries.

Gerd pops out "What? "

"Thought Connor would want to see his knight is all right" Vali says

Up into the Rafters, skitter-scramble-slither.

Grunt.

Gerd's eyes drift around to the tapestry, then to Dagmar, then to Vali "Shoot. I'm sorry. He just went back out on patrol through the ktichen door" PING

"Oh damn." Vali says , then a pause "Did he leave any beignets?"

"You accusing my little brother of being a pig?" BROW

"NO. .Just I.. geez, wilders are touchy. I'm gonna get one then is all" And he goes to the kitchen. While gerd slips out

Dagmar calls Connor's Watch.

That is , Gerd joins dagmar and the tapestry in the main room

Gerd whispers to Dagmar "He IS on Patrol. But he wsn't in the kitchen. "

Shrug. A glance up.

"Hup hup, Dogmar the Just on patrol, hup hup!" Comes the lightly panting breath, as the pooka boy jogs easily around. "Finding the crunchiest leaves by feet! That's the point of the patrol beat!"

"Totally! Are you close to the Lodge? I'm here for a little bit, and there's treats."

A shadowy shrug and grin down. Symon splays out to relax up there. "Wake me when it's time to leave." Cat like.
