The Dougal sidhe enters firnost with a look of caution. At first glance he has no obvious replacement, but the observant might notice the click click as his spine shifts as he looks about. He wears his house colors openly...

but also has a red and silver belt on at the moment.

He appears to be carrying a lap top case, and he glances about the hall with cautious eyes. A wilder, the young fellow first yanks his eyes up, up... to the rafters, where, for some reason, he gives a respectful nod.

The Juke box strikes up with "Nerdcore Rising," M.C. Frontalot

The choice of song/rap amuses the Dougal, and he moves along. It's not that crowded, in the corner two female sidhe look at him with boredom then go back to their own conversation. A pair of gloves /gauntlets glisten at the bar with a sign near by 'Payment requested if you can afford'.

A troll nurses a coffee mug the size of a medium popcorn bag at the movies. He isn't a pooka either.

Hume sees the sign about peacebinding, and does so, tying his mace with a string. Not like he's much of a warrior anyway.

He SHOULD have brought guards. He meant to. Really, but Oswald was worried about his tauntauns and wanting to help Emma, and others ...well, they were on drill.

Yup. I am ideal for a kidnapping here.

Hume moves to the gauntlets and for a moment thinks of asking them for a 'monster', then realizes one needs to be specific with requests likely. Instead "Ah, Dr. Pepper ice cold please?"

The gautnlets produce one promptly. "Thanks" He says and puts down a dollar for it to take. Then he stops "Oh, is there a place to give any ...tea for sluagh uses?"

The gloves take the tea as well.

A faint rustle in the shadowy rafters. The kind that you get the feeling is heard only because it is meant to be heard.

He nods in respect again, but doesn't speak too loudly "Courtesy of Earth Runes, and the lady librarian there of."

A fellow down at the far end of the bar eyes Hume with an appraising eye. He looks like a kith that might start with 'Bog...' but where it ends, it would be very impolite, or perhaps unsafe to venture a guess.

Please don't tell me they actually DO let Thallian in here? Really regretting he didn't bring a troll friend. He just enjoys his dr. Pepper and wonders how to ask if anyone has seen a bird pooka

The fellow hops off his stool and sidles closer. "Well, hello there, Lordling." With a... friendly? Yes, friendly! Grin. "You meeting someone here? Or looking for someone to meet? Or something, or some-doing, perhaps?"

Well, so much for that. "A pooka friend," A bit of a lie, but maybe it will become true "A bird pooka. You seen?"

He straightens his collar. "Shrude is the name. Shrude K. Neiver. Pleasure all mine." He offers his hand. "And you might be? I bet I can help you find your little tweety friend."

He starts to give his title, but instead just says "Hume" He shakes the hand cautiously. He knows some unseelie talk to Thallian ,IF this guy is a thallian, but nothing ever good comes of it. They've gotten worse last he heard. And Earth Runes has WARRED with them. This could be bad even if it doesn't have to be.

From a chair near the fire comes a strum of music, melodic. "Oo de lally, youngster. You'd better check that you have all your rings." Idle plucking at a guitar, or perhaps a lute?

(pause!)

It should be noted, that the Dougal does indeed check his fingers after the hand shake, not visibly so he hopes.. .and hopes he wasn't robbed but what can you do? He turns to see the source of the musical note
