William is an old hand at this; he pauses to observe the house.

The house screams 'We can't afford bigger and are making payments'. It's in need of repair here and there.

Reluctantly, he admits to himself he knows some guys.....

"Here we are."

"So what now? I mean.. mom won't see my shark fin ?" He points to his rabbit ears

"She... it is unlikely." He shoots Callidora a look.

"What story would you tell her, as close as you can to the truth, about how we met?" he asks carefully.

He ponders "Well, the UFOs were attacking..."

"Try toning it down, not up" CC suggests

"I got lost after I snuck out to see a parade? and Miss CC fed me and made sure I got home?" He tries again
