She beams up at Robert, after seeking and finding a possible answer in her memory bank. "I am on my period!" A bright smile, and she has another handful of popcorn.

Robert blushes just a bit at her volume then "oooooh I get it. " Robert does not get it

She catches up his hand in her free hand, and gives it a squeeze. "You have been a delightful host." Remembering not to call him thou.

"Yeah?" He smiles 'thanks. So where to now?"

He squeezes back

"Is there somewhere you'd like to go?" Allowances made!

"Well, I know you want to be careful and take it slow but, we could go some place private and uhm.. you know, see how far we get?" hopeful

"You mean, like a covert operation? A little smash and grab?"

"Uh ... "He has that confused look again

She decides, "Maybe, next time?" Admitting to herself that perhaps she should talk to her family before she commits to something.

"Sure" A bit of confusion, some disappointment

She DOES lean up and plants a kiss on him! Not a peck, a right proper smooch.

One that lingers.

He grins "Cool. Oh. I know whee we can go..." he names a local park

"Sure!"

They end up going to a nice park. And memories stir... there's a fountain around here

"The fountain..." She looks around, curious to find what sparked interest in her host.

Chimerical koi swim in circles

And they seem to notice her, they speak "Shoo shoo..nothing here." Speaking.

"Oooooooh!" She perches on the edge of the fountain, gazing in in delight!

Robert grins "See, this place is great for people watching or selfies"

"Hello, little feeshies..." She purrs.

"Huh?" he says, clueless son of adam

"Run silent, run deep" One Chimerical Koi advises

Her eyes cross a little as she gazes into the mortal version of the fountain. No fish?

None. the world is truly divided. the Dreaming and the Autumn. She walks between both now

She smiles at Robert as she pats the fountain seat next to her. "I was just thinking it would be nice if there were fish in the fountain. But it's nice without, too. I don't suppose you can compose to me a sonnet on how my loveliness is like a fish?"

"huh?" He sits down next to her "A sonnet? that's like ..a little song right?"

"I would accept a poem." She flops over to rest her head on his lap.

"uhhhh" He looks down then, “I hear my conscience call
Telling me I need a girl who’s as sweet as a dove
For the first time in my life, I see I need love.”

She purrs! "You are an unexpected delight, Robert. I think, I shall keep you." Pleasant thoughts of the delicious sweet taste of doves flutters through her head.

He seems surprised that old LL Cool J song worked

She may not be up for "seeing how far they can get", but it could be pleasant just to relax in the sunshine, no?

And it is... she soaks up the sun, the kiss a bit, but also just bask.

This is very useful information gathering. And to think, someone looking on might think her lazing.

"What do you think of her?" She'll ask Robert, "Or him?" "Or that?" Vague questions, but giving answers that lend more information about this Autumn world. And yes, paid for by kisses, because the currency is free.

And it works.. he talks of homeless guys who smell like candy corn and urine, of joggers who are wearing the wrong shoes, of SCA weirdos that are dressed in period garb as they go through the park, of girls who are doing tik tok videos in public and expecting folks to go around them and so on
