"Bah, so much of me old hoardl ost. " A sigh

"Let's not whine. We need to decide a few things on our own. The woman who does our housekeeping will be returned soon. What do we do with her? Just pretend to be normal?" Eryssa inquires

"Were we Verbecks ever normal? We are wealthy now, we can be tawdry sots if we so desire."

"I like the idea of having a mortal servant" Brandi states "Why not live it up? Enthrall her perhaps? "

"Oh, but then we have to share."

"Precious glamour gone to waste for a game, don't you think?" Murmur says, but she does look curious

"Are there not dreamers to be had? Glamour is free."

"And mortals are to be played with" Brandi nods "A bit of the cordial for her maybe"

"How delicious."

"Mm.. let's make sure she enjoys her service, shall we? Easier to keep her pliable that way" The satyress smiles

"I thought you preferred things stiff." A sniff.

"Catty, like you won't be finding something for those 'heated' times" Eryssa smirks

She dangles her phone between fingertips like she might dangle a mouse by the tail. "-I- came to a host with a built-in paramour."

"POor sap will never know what hit him' Brandi tuts

"Now now... she's old enough t have a pet" Big E says "remember, you gotta feed him and water him"

A sigh. "EVERY day?"

"Well, if you don't he won't be health enogh to perform"

She brightens. "Then we can go to the pet store, and find a new puppy!"

"Oh, I forgot... I despise dogs. I suppose I must take care of this one."

"Just don't leave a mess" The satyress says, then tursn to Big E "We need to switch some rooms about"

"Mommy, daddy, don't fight." She says, stifling a giggle.

"Oh shit, you're about to try to kick me out of the big bedroom?" Big E scowls

"Yes, but in exchange we can," SHe runs fingers along his arm "Figure things out. Quality time there vs Quantity time"

"this is tawdry" Angela/Murmur mutters

"Women have done it for less than a grand master bedroom before," Brandi tells the sluagh

While the 'married folk ' haggle over the Master bedroom (Big E will lose, once Eryssa seduces him enough), others get to explore their own rooms. And Carola will find out hers is very preppy sporty in nature

Hmmph, she's not so sure about all that, but the bed, is the bed comfortable, plush, and wwarm?

A bit firmer than she might like. SOmeone was worried about her posture . However there are spare comfortors that can be used under her too and it IS silk sheets

Hmmm. She goes to check out Angela's room.

Angela's has a much plusher bed, you could sink into it like a marshmellow

Mmm It will need some touch ups, and those curtains need opened so she can let the sun in during the day

She curls up on the bed, just to test it out, mind you.

Oh very comfortable indeed. This would be a good spot to allow someone to stroke her gently until she grew bored of them.

A soft whisper "i am moving to the basement anyway" And the sound of things being collected

She purrs just thinking about it, then blinks the nap that was looming away. Carola peers around to find... "Murmur? It is not a terrible name. I was going to go with "MrrrrMmmrrrRrrr, but feared it might be too close." A pause. "We are sisters now, and must share, after all."

"you still have need of me, or just want this room?" Dubious sounding on that first

"If I said yes, would you even believe me?" A somewhat hurt tone.

"we each have burdens, but , very well, in the name of sisterhood. You may have this room. i will , as i said, be taking over the basement." She does, however, reach out and touch Carola's hair, and stroke it with thin fingers "as for sharing, remember you said that. you may one day have something I'll need. Your quick wits and sly moves have been useful"

She presses into the stroking, and asks, "And now that you have my hair, you can do as you wish with me, anyways?" A touch sly but she does not pull away.

"Lazy thing" She strokes "I am not pulling hairs from you for a spell, though it's tempting. This is all so new to me. it's a loud world. A bright world. Still, we survived. for a time i did not think we'd ever be free"

"There are worse people to be trapped in a bottle with, I imagine, and worse still to be trapped in a family with. If it all feels too much, do as I do... take a nap, and if things are not looking better afterwards, at least you had a delightful nap."

She adds, "I hid a bottle of cream before 'Father' ransacked the kitchen. Perhaps some of it might be left out on the stairs, and in the morning, you can put it into your Cheerios."

What are "Cheery-O's?" Why does she think the Sluagh would like them? So much to understand about this new, old world.

"That is.. most kind, thank you. " A chuckle which sounds like paper being crumpled or reeds crushed . "What thinkest thou of our family set up? " she does keep stroking "I myself wonder if eventually 'mother's' hungers won't betray that the 'marriage' is not waht people expect, but as you hinted, we are wealthy. We'd not be the first to assume we were above society's mores"

"Then, I suppose, we shall run away to a new town where no one knows our names." Sensibly!

Though, it may betray something that her thought isn't about keeping up appearances, but of staying together.

A curious tilt then "Aye, well. I know thee well enough to know yyou'll find games to amuse you. We all have our hobbies, but a .. home to return to isn't bad." A beat "That fat cat. Do you think I'd be allowed to skin it? the fat from it might be used in some candle making "

"Oh, don't do that. As long as he's around, I can stuff him in a closet and take his form if I don't want to answer to Eryssa's bleating."

"Oh well, as long as he's useful, but should he die a natural death, his corpse is mine"

"Now you know my secret." A sigh, "I suppose you will be able to find me."

A smile up at her. "If you were to die, he would likely wait at least a day before eating your face, so fair is fair."

"yes, eyes are a deliciacy I'm told" She says with distaste, "Ah well, this room is yorus if you want it. I need to go to the basement" She pulls her hand back "we are here toghether still, and in a much cozier dwelling"

"Much less cozy, positively airy, I can stretch, I can BREATHE." She purrs.
