Daphne's eyes search it. "I remember this... she was so stupidly proud of it. " A nose wrinkle "But it has little style does it?"

"I would imagine it's an improvement over your last place." he says with amusement "And it would be considered upper class, today."

"Oh, true.." She says, opening the door and steps out. "I'll have to explain to Etahn how I'll need the master bedroom "

Said with confidence. Yes, Daphne, or whatever name she'll be going by, still sees herself as in charge.

"Quite." He hops out as well, and opens the door for Callidora. "Shall we walk you up? I do have a question.... well, an invitation.... for your group."

Carola flows out of the car and zips in in front of them, disappearing into the house to explore!

"Then please come..." A jump "Damn it, Carola"

"You might think of installing a cat flap." as they stroll in.

"I might think of buying a Doberman" She says then blinks "Oh crap. our mortal cat!"

Only now remembering

Carola slips in easy enough. Who needs a cat flap when you know where windows were left open a crack?

Her pupils widen easily to explore without the silly need for lights turned on, and she rounds a corner to see what there is to see.

THere is a large butterball of a cat, snoozing in a sunbeam. The thing looks like it doesn't do much beyond absorb sunlgiht

Carola stops, considering. She finds her back going up in protest. HISS, She says to the fatness.

The fatness looks up sees her and his fur sticks up in spots. It takes too much energy to raise it all at once

Little sideways hop, looking big. Well, not as big as that.

A showdown, even if one sided?

"Do you think we can convince everyone to gather together?" he asks Daphne.

Butterball yawns, and...moves to another sunbeam

Considering, and she moves to the first sunbeam, the BETTER sunbeam, and starts washing a paw. BATTLE WON.

"Well, Butterball isn't a fighter. He might be a lover, if we hadn't had him fixed long ago" Daphne says "Oh good lord, did she name a cat butterball? WHo does that?"

"I suppose it depends on the cat."

The door opens, Brandy steps out "Ah, you brought them, come on in"

"Thank you. I was hoping to have a word with everyone together."

"Come in, not as warm as your place" Brandy says

"Yes, let's see if we can get everyone together. Open a can of tuna will you?" Daphne says

"Well no, it wouldn't be." he says to the observation of temperature "But it will do to get you settled."

"I'll take mine as a Niçoise salad." Says Carola, already wandering back. "Pray, what IS a Niçoise salad? Do we have one? Are Niçoise fun to hunt?"

They find Ethan has already claimed a recliner

"There you are" Brandy says to the pooka "Looks like our liberators want to chat with us a bit"

"Just a few moments of your time, to make an invitation."

"Have a seat, please, both of you" Daphne says to CC and Emerson

"If your'e checking the fridge, Ethan empited a lot of it out... drink wise we have beer, milk, and red wine that's so so" Brandy says

Carola chooses to perch on the arm of Ethan's recliner.

"I can have your kitchen resupplied from the Club, at least for now, although Ethan, you may need to curb your appitite for a bit."

"And I can arrange to have someone teach you to shop, and/or shop for you."

"I remember shopping" Brandy says "It's like... taking tribute?"

"No, more like a hunt you have to pay for" CC says

"oh. I don't remember shopping" Brandy huffs

Her tail swishes softly, showing boldness, or trust, or perhaps stupidity, with how close it comes to Ethan.

Ethan chuckles, and oesn't seem to mind the pooka

"I won't insult you by saying the world has changed, but I will say instead that there may be things you need to learn. And in that regard, I offer myself. A foste
ring, of sorts."

"We haven'g arrived the normal way, but then, the arcadians don't either do they?" A frown from Daphne "Our names feel .. hollow"

"You are certainly allowed a use name" CC assures "to use among yourselves and other kithan"

The boggan nods agreement with Miss CC.

"I suggest" A whisper from Angela "We call the Pooka Pus in Cahoots" Dryly

"Look, we'd be stupid to turn down your offer of help" Ethan says "But what's in it for you two? " He asks CC and EBG

"Well, there's the Escheat and the Right of Rescue, yes? And, not forgetting, our little secret Freehold might be gobbled up by some noble if word were to get out about it. Five Dream Dances at the same time? Unheard of, surely someone will come looking...."
