"Thank you for that. I hope they don't have to..remove anythingg but the odds aren't friendly"

He nods slowly "No matter what... you will have that effect on me, Callidora. But I hope to avoid drastic measures as well...... and eating better will help that....."

"And you will let me know when you will tell Caesar? We could invite the whole family to a healthy dinner...."

"Would you like to be there when I tell him?" She squeezes his hand

"Of course. But if you would rather be alone with him, I would understand entirely."

"No.. he knows you'd know... but careful he doesn't seek SOMEONE to gget mad at... wouldn't be fair but we have temperrs"

A chuckle "Perhaps he'll go on a heel-turn wrestling tour."

"Hope not. He loves being the hero"

A sigh "Then perhaps I'll volunteer as the target for his anger."

"nonsense. I just I need to make sure he gets the hint I want you to be together if .. if anythinng happens"

"Caesar and I together, you mean?"

"Yes. Look out for each other. If I.. you know"

He squeezes her. "Of course. Mind you, more like he'll look after me in my dottage but..."

She smiles "Oh he'll be fine"

"Yes." gently "He -will- be."

"And YOU will be too" A kiss

"I will be fine, as will you." he kisses back.

"Can we have some tv time? Something Christmassy? Or break ou a DVD?"

"Yes, of course! You pick something out, I'll get refreshments?"

(fade to a Christmas movie and refreshing, fruit-infused ice water with a vegetable platter and whole-grain crackers!)
