"Oh hell no" CC says as she looks over the 'diet list' suggested, by the doctor no less

It's very similar to the one EBG is pushing for

William drives in companionable silence, letting her read.

"I'm gonna ravage him... I mean, only fair, he's trying to take glamour out of MY life"

She is probably bluffing. Probably.

"I'll hold your coat when you do." he offers soothingly.

"YOU wanted this. I saw your list" She grumbles

"Dearest, were you snooping?" amused.

Sulky "Maaaybe" that's a yes

"Well, I can hardly throw stones." mildly "In my defense, I only made a list of what my research showed. It's not surprising the doctor agreed with it. Food -does- have healing powers."

"Bet he has boggan blood" A scoff, "Bosssy bossy boggan blood"

"Wouldn't that be wonderful?"

She sticks her tongue out

"Tease...." in a low purr.

She sucks her tongue in 'Denied" but despite herself she did find his comment amusing.

A WOEFUL sigh from the boggan as he navigates them home.

"The suggested foods are not unpleasant, Dearest."

"I have to cut down on my favorites"

"For a time."

"I suppose that's a fair point" they stop as they get home

He exits smartly and gets her door for her, as always.

She slips out when he offers his hand, taking it

And they walk up, he gets the door, the dog is there to greet them; the cat's around somewhere...

"Hey pooch" She pets the dog. Tails wag furiously

He will, indeed, get her coat for her if she lets him, and he hangs all the things up neat and tidy.

"Oh I just cry again"

She lets him, of course.

"Dearest?" he checks; IS she crying?

Not really, but the kitchen counter has some of her favorrite alchohal dropped off while she was gone, by Caesar no doubt. Some of the type is discouraged by the Doctor's notes

He approaches from behind, and wraps his arms around her waist. "Do you want me to remove them?" he asks gently.

"Maybe regift them o someone? Stock them in firnost if you want?"

"Consider it done." He releases her to tidy the bottles up too. He returns to her to take her in his arms "On that note, through, Dearest....."

"Yes?" A look over at him

"How do you want to address this with Caesar?"

"I don't" She admits "But I must, I suppose?"

His expression is sympathetic "I can't imagine how we'll do this without him, Dearest. Doctor's appointments and... as we've discussed hospital visits for treatment if not actual hospital stays.... we'll need someone we trust, who is younger, as a backup to... remind us should we need it. To bring us Glamour."

"Yes, but he's such a sensitive boy. I've fought all my life to keep him from the ugly parts of he world. he's my son, I'm supposed to care for HIM"

"I know." he soothes "And you -have-. Perhaps, just now, you can care for him by teaching him how to face this sort of ugly truth."

She wipes a bit at her eyes.

"Shh." he hands her a tissue he had staged about his person.

She takes it "Sorry. "

"No need to apologize, Dearest. Perfectly understandable and natural."

"I believe Caesar will keep your confidence in this, if you wish it."

"I think he will..." She nods "But we have to make sure he doesn't try for some silly quest"

A chuckle "We will warn him that is -my- purview. Or, ours." he allows.

"He can be stubborn" She warns

"You and I are not marshmallows." he points out.

She pokes his belly playfully and dimples in response

Another chuckle "Yes, yes, I -resemble- the Sta-puft man, but inside? STEEL."

Her hand on his belly slides.... lower "I do believe you're right" A wink
