“Lily.” Symon/ Ms. Peabody gives a nod.

"Hello, " Lily squints trying to see sometthing then goes "Do I know you?"

“Do you?” He asks, testing her a bit, perhaps.

"This is my Aunt, Ms Peabody" 'Kimberly' says "You know her"

"Oh, of course" Lily says "Hello, Ms Peabody. I hope you're well"

"It is my belief, Ms Peabody wanted to talk to you, Lily, I assume alone?"

Lily squirms, and not in the slippinng through a crack way

A slight incline, bow to the headmistress. “Yes, indeed.”

"I'm not normally in habit of leaving children with nonn staff and non family members however, you have ten minutes to talk in private" She takes the nocker girl by the shoulder "And you and I will discuss flyingg brooms full speed down the halls where you can hurt people"

"Ah, furk.. I mean, oh bother" The nocker sighs and they move on

Leaving Lily, Kimberly and Ms Peabody alone? So it seems

Symon drops his soft spoken feminine voice and speaks in his normal sluagh whispers. Slightly chiding, “we missed you at tea, Lily.”

Lily winces "uh.. I had school"

“Tea, with cousins. At the invitation of the librarian.”

Kassedy may not get the importance.

Kassedy DOES look confused

LIly looks at her feet "Do I hafta?"

Symon slips down to sit on the floor next to her, which looks somewhat ludicrous as a lady of moderate society. "Wouldn't you want to? You can always talk to me. I was worried. I thought maybe something happened to you."

"For once" She admits "I didn't want to scare anyone. I... it's going to be about the dead namer..and what I know. And I don't want to talk about it. I miss my brother"

He sighs, and inwardly curses himself yet again for not thinking of this. He changes direction a bit. "Do you like it here? I... you know, I'm not like, a formal mentor or anything, and you're no longer in River Vale... but if you ever need anything, you know you can come to me." A touch awkward.

"Someimes in Rivervale... but this is nice. Grandma suggested it.. seemed the best compromise? "

He nods slowly. "It seems like a good place. Next time, just send your regrets, okay? Slugs'll understand, but they want you to be all polite about it."

"you're right" she lowers her eyes "I'm sorry, Symon. You're a good mentor. Could you please pass on my regrets?" She squirms a bit

"Of course. And We'll look into finding a way for you to pass on messages, too. How do you feel about a nice cockroach, maybe? Or prefer electronics?"

"A cockroach? I don' dislike bugs but they do't have much style" She whispers

"Maybe a moth?" the Liam suggests

"oh those are stylish" Lily assures

"A rat, or a vole? Moths are nice, too." He allows.

"A rat would be okay, one with character" She observes "I beleve this is yours" She returrns Quetz

He strokes the snake's head, and whispers to the creature. "Would you mind looking over Lily until we find her a companion of her own?" Silently promising much reward.

The snake fusses, Lovecraft is hardly RELIABLE... is he sure?

It would, he reassures him, give Symon much reassurance that she is properly watched over. After all, one cannot rely on a cat for that.

And with that, the ghost scaled snake slithters over to Lily again

"I'll go give your regrets and regards to the lady Librarian and guests." A pause, and he confirms, "You DO like this school? They treat you right?"

"I like it okay, they treat me well but..." She lowers her voice "it has secrets... I haven't learned the mall.." unspoken 'yet'

Kassedy twitchs cuirously straining to hear

He grins at her. And then smiles back to Kassedy. "I think I found what I came for, with your help."

"Lily, I'll expect you to report back to me on what you discover. Cool?"

"Happy to help" Kassedy says "But we need to go.. I think my hair is re-curling"

LIly smiles and gives Symon a hug "I'm stabbing your back"

He traces a line across the back of her neck. "Garroted."

A whispering giggle

He leans back. "Alright, we're out. 'Kimberly'... I think that maybe if you wanted to come back, under another name... your Knight might just find a way."

"it's pretty far, uhm Miss, but thank you"

"I still can't believe you became a GIRL to save me" Lily mutters

A snicker at the 'Miss', and he gives Lily a bit of a look. "Guess you'll never know if I'm watching then, will you?" Smirk.

"challenge accepted, mmmph" Lily crosses her arms

"We reaallly gotta go.. your Mcguffies are melting" the liam ggirl warns

He grins and heads out with Kassedy before the headmistress can return. Keep her guessing.

And they escape
