Oh the fire is STRONG. Well she knows it. Anyone trying to ken her doing will be trying to find a firefly before a spot light.

And she scries...

She truly does look like a , well, the word is unkind, but if one were to use the term 'bimbo' this is the visual that would be conquered. Many sidhe women are willowy, slender, graceful, this woman is profoundy hourglass, bordering top heavy. Golden Hair, Blue eyes.. and, to Zara's possible annoyance, still sidhe, meaning while Zara does not normally find such appealing, it is hard NOT to admire.

"Feh."

Countess Huaralyis eyes, however, are not vacant or absent minded. Underneath the facade is a keen look

And just what is the Countess up to?

Counting spiders, it seems.

Whatever room she is in, there are dozens and dozens of spiders dropping down single web strands of varying length, most look much like Zara's current guest (Prisoner! the spider would protest) and she touches them gently as if they were dangling windchimes.

Zara might feel an odd pang of envy, or resentment. Spiders are supposed to be the sluagh domain.

Or she might take it in stride. Who knows..save Zara?

The Countess tuts and touches them, one after the other, "This is what it looks like, feel my vision" And her blue eyes close in concentration.

What is she doing? Sending them after Zara's book?

Alas, Zara suspects, but cannot be sure. Either the chimera have redes allowing them to pick up mental images by touch and they are using it to learn, OR, the Eiluned has some cantrip or art that impresses that image wordlessly upon.

The spiders are, however, slowly going out of the cracks in the room to search.

And 1122 sounds alarm!

She's getting away meaning the spider.

"Daren't!"

Oh, a terrible glass prison!

And Zara sees 1122 has all his 8 legs bound up by a thin silken cord of HER webbing while he's on his back looking rather embarrassed.

The spidress gets caught by glass and.. FUMES.

Then she demands her phone call again.

A gentle tut.

Earl blinks, "1122, did you ..let her tie your legs up? I Mean, did she.. dude, did you get played?"

1122 sighs, and beats his little head lightly to type out "I was just trying to be friendly. She said she understood the safe word"

"He's been drinking too much glamour at the Fiona hold" Earl suggests.

Sigh.

Zara may have to recast. Her scrying was distracted by the escape attempt

Indeed.

The lady of eight legs continues to fuss, but Zara suspects it is an attempt to keep her from scrying again.

"You are not hurt. Patience, pray."

She stirs the threads once more, seeking the Countess.

It is not patience, it is duty! It is every spy's job to escape, and to protect intell, and she for one will not... and could you please inform 1122 that she will not be distracted by his tapping poetry at her?

And Zara, scries.

1122 is a shameless flirt.

The sidhe sits in a chair, and, as is typical, it is throne like, but what is intriguing is her crown, it has eight prongs that look vaguely spider leg like, black glass, excellent design with gemstones along the band looking like spider eyes. The Countess has closed her eyes, but it is clear they jump under the lids.

Zara kens her through the cantrip - is she casting?

She is using a treasure, one akin to scrying...

In fact, she's seeing through the eyes of her spiders, one by one... which means, very soon, she'll be seeing through the eyes of the prisoner!

Zara drops a cloth over the glass.

And sure enough, Zara, maintaining her scrying as she does so, notices about a minute later- the Countess Huaralyis frowns with concern, and mouths "trēdecim?

Again, the spider in the cloth tries to use a rede, and again, even while she can't see the spider beneath the cloth, Zara counters it.

Zara frowns, and waits.

"Love, think you able to send this spider elsewhere? It maybe time for her to go home."

"Easily." he says "I know a neutral location or two"

"Excellent."

And Tredecim, if that is her name, taps a message out to 1122 ...right before she is flicker flashed.

"Forgive. Thirteen had to go."

1122 types out She said I was an intriguing rival, and hoped I would seek her out excited

"Well, you do love a challenge."
