"Then don't. I sell the best either way" Nelson says just as firm

Emerson draws an abstract design on the table. "What is your overhead?"

And he goes into the details... the man's good at making booze, but his surly attitude has kept customers at bay. And that has hurt it badly

Caesar steps back and lets the two go at it...

it turns out the satyr's not wrong, they could help each other. The ONLY risk is that sidhe might not come to the club if they hear about due to a boycot. and..well that's a perk

"I think we could come to an agreement."

"mm you seem tolerable" Nelson agrees

A chuckle. "You allow torerability to govern who you do business with?"

"I'm a hypocrite... but i own it" The man says "And it's a factor. The fact that you might appreciate good product and have sense probably more important"

"Probably."

"I'll take a case, on consignment. Split the profit 50-50."

"Fifty Fifty?" Nelson says "With my blood sweat and tears in it?"

"It is not without risk for me." He points out.

"Fine, for a period of?"

"A year?"

"Mmm " A hand is offered to shake

Emerson regards it just a split second, and shakes.

The deal does make Emerson buzz a bit... this could work for him.

"Now.... how close to the margin are you with this place?"

"Let me show you my ledger..."

"Both of them." Emerson suggests mildly.

the next hour or so, fine drinks as shared. And business goes on. The two get a kind of mutual glamour coordination going despite their differences.

"Well. I think you might scrape by." Emerson admits after a careful examination of the records he is provided.

"If I can survive doing what I love. I'll count it as a spit in the eye of that noble... so yeah, scrape by will do juusust fine"

The great hold of Firnost is once again nearly empty when Sylvi slips in

She knows that's probably not how it really is. There are likely some sluagh in the woodwork, but fine, let them be there. She's more interested in another possible occupant, and she looks around as she enters through the bathroom trod door.

There's a small table, with a table lcloth, and a candle... and yes, a troll. Colton

When he sees her, he rises, "Hey"

She blinks at the scene, and smiles, surprised. "Ah...hi." She bites her lip as she gets closer, then pauses. "Flopsy, do you mind helping yourself to a carrot juice at the bar for a bit?"

"mmmph" The rabbit says "I sense a banishment"

But he hops away.

Colton grins, "Hey, thought I'd make it kind of.. you know, romantic?"

"Don't be that way..." Sylvi says after her fuzzy companion, then joins Colton at the table. "You really did. It's..." she looks at the candle and then at him. "It's really nice." She colors at her inadequate words.

"Well, the meal is almost ready... I cheated, the gloves did most of the work" Sheepish "I probably should have ordered pizza."

"A meal? Colton, you didn't have to...." But she doesn't look at all displeased.

"Well, I know it won't compare to your mom's"

"But ah, forgive a little and it should be...decent " A smile

"Hey...my mom's a great cook, yeah, but that doesn't mean I don't like other people's food, too. I'm looking forward to this." A bit of an awkward moment as she's still standing, looking at him.

"Well then, first thing you need to do is... sit down' He kisses her, deeply and slides her into the chair at the table.

A little happy sigh into the kiss, and yes, he can guide her into the seat easily. She's definitely blushing when they part.

"I'll be back for the rest of that" He grins, and slides back to where the gloves are working.

A little half-nervous laugh, and she watches him go. Then she looks around the very empty room, and up at the rafters...and resists the urge to stick her tongue out at whomever.

It's a chicken dish, nothing fancy but it smells great. Mashed Potatoes with butter on the side.

And yes, some asparagus spears that have a light roast.

"Oh, that looks nice, Colton. And thank you!" she calls over to the Gloves.
