It relates an interesting tale, of a young satyress who was born of a woman who was manipulated and used by Tantalus... for his shows. Chicanary and the like to make a mortal woman a better performer. An actress of the seedier side and not by choice.

This would be her mother it seems. And when that human woman was knocked up by the boss, well, she wasn't as 'useful' anymore for the performances, and was cast aside.

Magdalene writes of a young satyress chrystaling, terrified of being a 'monster' like her father. Of being Unseelie.

Oh, but she associated being Unseeliie with manipulation, control, and rapine. She sought a cure, a treasure, one powerful enough to put the Unseelie side away forever. Any price was worth it, not to be Tantalus

Instead she found the coin did something else.

An impressive eyebrow-lift.

Every time she wakes up, she's compelled to flip the coin, one side, Seelie, the other side Unseelie. Until she slips next. _"I suppose it's good that the coin always returns to me, and also bad. _

Notes have been written in the side margins "Oh stop bitching! I don't 'rape' anyone, I don't enslave anyone, and unlike you? NO ONE Enslaves me'

Indeed, the side notes are the same handwriting, and yet more rushed, a different state less concerned with format and even grammar, not showing a lack of intelligence.

But rather a less 'gives a #### attitude'

A slow, curving smile. Well that makes so much sense out of things. Callidora will want to meet the girl, offer assistance. See her as another victim.

He continues to page through, seeking recent reference....

Further notes, plots to avenge her mother and herself on the sperm donor who helped make her... only to learn The Liams have him? He's brought to Justice? What? I... oh my. I actually feel safe I could learn to like some Liams if they weren't so prudish. Huh, Revenge is a dish best served by someone else

It speaks of days going by , never knowing if she's going to be a proper good seelie girl (Boring self righteous coward) or a rebellious blabber mouth tramp (Woman who ENJOYS life)

It would appear the coin would preveent that, at least if these notes are in play

He avoids an audible 'tsk' but only just. He carefully returns the book to where and how he got it, and moves into the bedroom and bathroom. Medicine cabinet, things hidden in toilet bowls, what's under the bed, in the closet, in the dresser drawers....?

No sign of drug use besides booze and maybe some weed, and not great amoounts of that. Seems neither side is keen on being addicted by more dangerous narcotics. The clothing is practically bipolar.

Under the bed? A pair of golden eyes glares at him.

He almost startles, but controls himself, and waits.

His cantrip seems to be holding.
