He chuckles proudly. "Well, as I understand it, Brekke was Enchanting her to take her into the Dreaming and that pretty much shot her over the edge of her Chrysalis as they were going in. It was.... a surprise." Trolls, masters of understatement.

She snorts. "Shot up when she a'ready high, straight into OD. She lucky she come out with her head on right."

Frank nods. "Yes." Softly.

She looks at him. "See, that jus' another 'xample how she don' fit th' rules. If anybody's situation gonna help change the way things is, it gonna be hers. But she jus' think she, like, Joe Average Troll."

He looks at Tweak. "Know what she did? I'd been shot, I was down. The Leanhaun had the others at sword-point. It was over, we'd lost. The Baron called Jess over. She did -exactly- what he wanted her to.... and then, since she had her arms around him anyway, she -squeezed.- She picked him up and body slammed him. No air in his lungs, no way to shout a command. She kept him down, and it turned the tide. She snatch victory from defeat by doing what he wanted her to." He pauses. "Or so I'm told. I can't remember, myself."

She smirks. "I ain' heard that one. Huh. Y'know...don't surprise me, not one fuckin' bit. That jus' like her."

He just smiles, daddy-proud.

A pause. "It was a Leanhaun, huh?" Measuring look.

His smile fades. "Yes."

"If you did not know, Leanhaun and Liam are.... strongly opposed."

She waves it off. "That your game. Ain' mine, ain' hers."

"Except for the fact you want to meet with a Liam Count to avoid Fenix going to a Leanhuan Baron, among others." Wry.

"To avoid it from bein' taken from her for no good reason. Th' fact that there be house politics to back it up...well, that help, yeah."

"Yeah." He chuckles. "It does." He tilts his head. "How're you, Tweak?"

She smirks. "Me? Fuckin' ducky. Livin' th' life, Rigger, an' wanna keep it that way as long's I still got some time this go-round."

He smiles gently, nodding. "I understand. Got any projects worth talking about?"

"Aw, I keep startin' this thing an' that thing, but then the kids in th' Collective need hand-holdin'." She shrugs...but he gets a sense of fondness for her role there. "The a bunch of dipshits, most of 'em."

He grins. "Sounds like the Collective is your project."

A snort. "They need enough tinkerin', that for sure." Then a grin. "Rig still roarin'?"

He nods. "She does. I don't work as much as I used to, of course, but I still pick up runs. Not the same cargo, of course. Mundane stuff. Keeps Bedlam at bay, and it's productive."

"Yeahhh." She sighs. "We old farts now, but we ain' useless."

He chuckles. "How's Necropsis?"

"Oh, he gonna come up on being a ol' fart someday soon, too." The twinkle in her eye is unmistakable. "Fucker pullin' in serious bucks these days...heh, after all them years eatin' soggy leftover hoagies outta that cooler in Desolation...." She shakes her head. "We livin' large, now."

He grins at that twinkle. "Well. Don't love the way he makes the money, but I'm glad you two are happy."

She raises her brows. "I forgot you know that part, weren't gonna mention. But...hey...not my job to convince ya."

"And, I'd like to point out, -you- wouldn't have taken help back in the day if I had offered. Either of you."

Tweak feels something shuffle along her skin in spider valley

She squirms slightly, but doesn't look away from the troll. "'Xactly right...'cept we both done crashed at Desolation, an' took what food been offered, an'...yeah, okay, I'll admit, there some shit I learned there only cuz I got tricked into learnin' it. You gettin' the picture now?"

"See, I still 'member what it like to be a wilder." She winks at him.

A small brown recluse dances along places that would get another guy slapped (Or creatively electrocuted), and moves to her collar

"Jess told me. We've had a couple heart-to-hearts." He chuckles and nods. "I understand."

Another slight shift...she seems to be getting restless. "Look, Rigger...I ain' gonna tell her yet, not until after we talk to th' Count."
