He follows the dancing light that only he can see, keeping his awareness sharp around him.

The dancing light guides him towards a collection of warehouses... even in daylight, this place is shadowed

"Hmmmmm....." He pauses, watching the buildings, noting where the light dances closest.

It hovers closest to one that says "Hard Copy Solutions"

And hovers. 🙂

He takes his time, thinking, watching. Planning, Calculating.

He also notices something else... blood stains

In the light of the wisp, he can see a few blood drops.

OOC Is he close enough to Whisper the blood?

OOC: Sure

OOC: or he can be...just ten feet walk

OOC Scene 2 and Fae 4 to do it from where he is?

OC That's a pool of Stam, Fae, and Scene.

OOC: looks like 2 questions.

"What is your source?" Softly.

"A nightmare birth hath I, and a death by the hands of the dream. Spread I was across the place. The last sound was a scream."

"How many other nightmares lie within the place?"

"None..now."

And the cantrip ends

He squints at the building on hearing this. "Hmph." Disgruntled. He stands and stomps both feet, crossing his arms over his chest and rocking his head from side to side on his neck to cast Oakenshield.

He frowns, and bend to crouch, wheezing a bit. "Oh bother...." gasped weakly.

OOC Well, failed the roll but ready to try again? Or just say yes?

BIC: His glamour fails him...

and he's not having a good day.

He pushes back to his feet, and declaims "Now is the time for our esteemed Mr. Baggins, who has proved himself a good companion on our long road, and a hobbit full of courage and resource far exceeding his size, and if I may say so possessed of good luck far exceeding the usual allowance – now is the time for him to perform the service for which he was included in our Company!" (3 sux)

THAT works

He takes a deep breath and nods. "Hmmph." He straightens his voile and slips forward, heading for a door or other entry point.

he enters in and finds...signs of battle! It looks like someone killed not one, but two goblins...and the wisp overs over the corpse of one! Looks like he was battered to death with a large blunt object. At least, he assumes they were goblins... being dead, they have no fae mein.

OOC: Perception plus alertness

BIC: He almost doesn't notice the upturned supply table... dark steel bullets are in there. Ones that match those shot at his beloved Callidora!

He searches the room carefully with his eyes and ears before moving farther, alert for hidden traps and dangers lurking therein. Then he goes to gather up all the ammunition he can find, pocketing it. Afterwards, he searches the bodies.

Someone has picked the bodies clean of clues before he did. No wallets, no dross, no cards...these beings have been searched already and left to rot.

THere were signs of traps, but it looks like someone else triggered them.

He hisses, exhaling in frustration, and considers. He holds his hands together, as if cupping something unseen, and then says "I will consult the bones!" He opens his hands in a flinging gesture over the bodies and whispers "The bones tell me.... nothing."

OOC Bugger. Nope. Didn't think that through. Well, it doesn't work but he had to -try-.....
