Ever since Imbolc, Lydia has been in a great mood, and it reflects in her songs.

She sings into the mic (Not the cat) with joyful abandon today, it's a song of triumph and pleasure just in living.

The little kindnesses echo to roars of delight at times. And Eden listens nearby, and feels just a bit pleased with herself.

Sylvi has been keeping an eye out for the fugitive, Mic.

Mic is a hunted creature!

Dirk wants a 'word'

So, naturally, Mic is found curled up on the inside of a tuba

He maybe stuck

"Oh, for the love of..." She starts the process of disengaging him. She doesn't want to resort to tooting him out unless absolutely necessary.

Fortunately, she can manage, he's a gentle fellow but this time he latcyes onto her skin JUST a bit much so he can gain traction

She grimaces. Good thing trolls have tough skin (even those not made of rock). "You, buddy, are in trouble."

"mwror?" he inquires

"Well, I'm guessing it was you, anyway. Dammit, should have thought of getting you neutered, but didn't think you were smart enough to do more than eat and sleep."

PURRR...vaguely smug

Serenity rushes in "Anyone here? Hide Mic. Dirk's on the way"

Sylvi sighs. "No. No hiding." Mic firmly in her grip, she goes to the hallways and faces the door, waiting for the onslaught of outrage.

Mic purs, clueless that he is possibly about to have a near death experience

Serenity winces "You're the holder. I've TRIED talking reason into him. He doesn't know it, but a lot of folks think any kittens of Peach's will be as sweet as she is, and while Mic is no genius" She eyes the orange tabby "Okay, he's dim. Still his personality is nice"

"I am the holder. And Dirk better remember that."

"WHERE is that saffron striped son of a bitch?" Dirk stomps on in

"Right here," Sylvi declares clearly. "Stand down, Dirk."

"Stand down?" He stomps up. He's big for a redcap but she is still taller, not that seems to phaze him "That bastard is suspect number one on an ongoing investigation. Peacekeeper business"

The piskie blinks "How is that peacekeeper business?"

"I'm the peacekeeper, I'm making it my business" He points out as if it's obvious.

"I'm the freeholder, and I'm telling you to Stand Down." Dirk's intimidating, but she's on her turf. "Consider this Sanctuary."

He gapes, "Safe Haven isn't meant apply to philandering felines and you know it , the Escheat is meant for..."

To his surprise, Serenity elbows him. He gives a her a LOOK that has the piskie back up a foot and gulp.

"What was THAT for?" Dirk glares at Serenity

"Because Lydia is here today" Serenity whispers "And while I maybe jealous she got to do the Firebrand thing partly, now is not the time to make it sound like Haven is 'kithain only'" A soft hiss

Dirk's glare fades, and he swallows down "Shit. Fine."

Sylvi nods, impressed with Serenity's resourcefulness.

"Now. We don't know if he's the culprit. He might be, I'll admit. He went missing a few days ago."

"I have a question for you, though...if you didn't want Peach to have kittens, why didn't you have her spayed?"

"I was getting around to it, but then I thought what if something goes wrong when she's under the knife?" He glowers "Dead cat ain't good for anything except my brother's taxidermy"

Serenity looks tempted to say something but keeps quiet

Sylvi nods. "Yeah. It's a worry. I get it. Kinda why I didn't get Mic fixed. So...you and I are both guilty here. Not the cats -- they just did what cats do."

"I want to willowwhisper the little shit THEN we'll talk about mercy" Dirk fusses

"Sure, no problem, but not yet. If it is him...what are you expecting to do?"

He looks around, seeming to be on the look out for someone, then says "Then I'll have it confirmed and know the kittens will be idjts and prepare for stupid cats"

He was looking to see if a Gwydion was around, she realizes. And figured since one wasn't, he'd lie. Mind you, he told PART of the truth

"Oh. I didn't think you'd be so reasonable" Sereenity says surprised

"But you won't hurt Mic," Sylvi clarifies.

"HURT? NAH... but I know how to neuter him fast" Redcaps shouldn't try to dimple, it's disturbing

Serenity looks ANNOYED and mutters "I can't believe I fell for that"

"No." Firmly.

"Oh for fuck's sake, Sylvi. He's not even your cat. He's a stray who mooches on the place" Dirk frowns

"Sounds like...." she starts with a glare, but seems to think better of what she was going to say and cuts herself off. She clears her throat and starts again. "Trying to get revenge on him won't work because he won't understand what it's for. Don't waste your time."

"I STILL wanna willowhisper him" Dirk inisists "That ain't gonna hurt him"
