Nice thing about party prep when the two main folks you're celebrating aren't going to be there... the schedule is flexible!

It's actually a totally awesome idea, and Sylvi is HERE for it. She's working on a shopping list for food/snacks/treats/etc.

The door opens with a slam, and a triumphant yell of "Rikki in the Hizzy, taking the sea, now back on land!"

"Hey! Fun in the Sun! Get over here!" she calls from one of the studios.

The racoon pooka does look tanned, except the parts that look a bit sunburned, but MOSTLY tanned

"Oh, you totally look like you were doing some hard work." A smirk, and then she gives Rikki a hug.

"Easy on the shoulders, that's where I put my angel wings" She hugs back "SO operation Clurichbegone is a success?"

"SUCH a success! Not quite the way I thought it would be, but GREAT results. I gotta fill you in on the details."

"Fantabulous, and remember, you owe me a favor... not including your first born child, which I wouldn't want anyway- they taste terrible and the market is not as profitable as you'd think"

"Giving you an opportunity to take a cruise isn't enough?" An eyebrow quirk.

"Not enough to get you off the hook. Besides," She reaches into her bag " I got you a gift" She pulls out a shirt in SYlvi's size and hands it over "Catch"

She's about to rattle off some details, but she's interrupted by offered clothing. "I'm almost afraid to look." But look she does.

"I got in in your size, Svelte Giant"

Sylvi laughs! "And if you're doing it right, you're burning them off anyway." A mischievous look.

"What? I am a good girl" She says in a Bourlesque sing song "Now, the news?"

A roll of eyes. "Anyway...here's how it went down..." And Sylvi fills her in on the Cairrean's return, the encounter at the pier, and Cairrean's banishment. "AND...Symon and Dagmar are now OATHED!"

That LAST catches her off guard, 'Wait, She got SYMON to Oath? THe most eligible bachelor in Bergen... mostly because he smells like unwashed socks and formaldehyde, but not the point? Oh wow. I did not think THAT was goonna happen"

Rikki's eyes are lighting up

"I wasn't sure, but I was hoping. They've been totally devoted to each other for years, and the whole Cairrean thing was just heartbreaking to watch. So, they didn't do truehearts exactly, and it's not quite clasped hands, but it's somewhere in between, like a little of column A and a little of column B."

Rikki's eyes are wicked "And you have the dirt on it ALL.... I mean, Symon can be Stephen King scary, but here we are with leverage enough to make him a fetch boy. You're smart enough to have the evidence on this in case you disappear for too long right? "

She steeples her black gloved fingers "Oh this is nice, sylvi, I thought you'd gone soft, but if you're taking a risk like this, then you must have a plan to make it pay off"

Sylvi looks puzzled. "Hang on, what? What risk?"

"You know, the whole 'look, a sluagh fucked up, let's pour sunlight on it and see if he combusts or just goes into a gollum like fit of revenge' thing? A gamble, a real gamble, but if we can avoid your doom, Symon might be fetch and call boy to US instead of Cairean. But.. how you going to get around his big blue oathmate and bodyshield?" Curious

Her smile has slipped away, and her posture shifts, one hand on a hip, as she gives Rikki a look that she must have learned from her mother. "I'm not spilling anything that you didn't already know about the fuck-ups. And Dagmar said it's okay to share their oath status. And if you try to exploit either of them over this, you and I are gonna have words and then some."

"BUT you owe me, so I could use the 'let me have this one ' as the favor, and you're all still honorable and I'm still Rikkie right?" She looks hopeful

"I owe you. Not them." Firm.

Rikki adds "I got you a shirt" Hopeful

"Yeah, you did. Thanks for that. I can pay you back for it. How much did you pay?" A bit of sass in her tone. She's not giving in.

"I shook my boobs at least twice and fluttered my lashes once, not the point." A sigh "Are you telling me that Piper, my friendd, TRAPPED by the twin terrors and maternity... can't be told about this even? I mean, I can't blackmail a sluagh that I might spill the beans if you won't let me ever anyway and... that's restraint of trade!"

"Let me put it to you this way: If you tell anybody, then what are the chances that I'll ever put myself in a position to owe you another favor?"

"mmph. Not like anyone BELIEVES me, and you left a lot of stuff out, like the bit about the drug deals?"

She knows pooka can get you talking, spilling the beans, ALL the beans, and Rikki is thinking about it. Hard. SHe hasn't started yet, but Sylvi may want to pooka block that one way or another. Rikki doesn't seem ANGRY at SYlvi, but she is... very Rikki and pushes boundaries sometimes

"ANYWAY! I need to tell you what we're planning. We are gonna throw the two of them a hashtag-blowout-party. But both of them hate parties, right? So we're gonna throw the party without them and raise good vibes for them and their relationship!"

Rikki looks ready to swing it back, but trolls are SO damned stubborn. Really, they're exhausting sometimes and she doesn't know why she bothers with... blink blink "A party without the couple ABOUT the couple? SO... pin the horns on the Dagmar? or whack a Symon games? Maybe a look alike or impersonation contest?"

Sylvi winces, then sighs. "I guess if I don't say okay, you're gonna come up with something worse?"

"Let's put game plans on hold. Here, take a look at my list for shopping and prep. Am I forgetting anything?"

Attempt to redirect Rikki's focus.

"Pin the horns on Dagmar would be hilarious and you know it... true, we'd need a ladder..." But she looks over the list "You gotta have Dr.Pepper as the main drink whether we like it or not. Need to see if her mom will donate her fire food for the party because that's how she'd want it if she WERE here. Need decorations that look like a seriel killer's taxidermy set to honor Symon the De Niler. And there should be an emphasis on Emo music because with their powers combined they are SO VERY Emo"

And Rikki is side tracked onto prep help. Her great blackmail plan ruined.

Sometimes even if you work hard and dream big , you still won't get to be a jerk. It's a tragedy that RIkki knows well.
