"I totally respect that. And I trust that you wouldn't ask me to help out if this were going to hurt anybody I care about. So...when do we start?"

"When do you have time?" Siv inquires " I know you are popular here"

"Well, we're only figuring a few hours, right? Or something? I could do it today."

"Oo wow. Hmm" She ponders this

"I mean...you're not expecting me to keep this guy busy for days, right?"

"Nah, that's not fair to you or Goldfinch" she says after a time

A blink. "Wait. I mean...how do I know when my part is done? Like, when can I say 'see ya' and ditch the guy?"

"Might be handy to have a signal, true. A text?"

"That works as long as you have your phone. I wonder...I don't know if there's a cantrip that would do it. I guess it would be either chicanery or legerdemain or something. Like...if you have something, and I have a matching thing. And when you break yours, mine breaks. Or vice versa. So, like a signal." A pause. "I'm probably overthinking things. A text should work."

"Well, problem there is I don't have a long distance contact cantrip and... oh oh!" She bounces "I might know someone who does have something like that. Baron K"

"Okay," she nods slowly. "Think he'd be willing? I mean, you couldn't exactly tell him what's going on, could you?"

"No, but he owes me a favor or two for the times I worked for him, and it's outside his usual area"

"Okay, then...well, you get that, and let me know when we're all set."

"Will do, and thanks" She rises

"Hey, Siv? It's good to see you. Y'know, adventure and intrigue notwithstanding."

A smile "I missed you too, Sylvi. And your feet? Not NEARLY as big as Jessica. Talk about STOMPERS" but she gives a quick hug, and departs
