"Yes but, isn't that Darkgate's duty to HIm, not ours?"

"Darkgate's not exactly the most wealthy hold."

"I'm just saying, at the risk of sounding like a marketing director; but it's not reading well with the public"

She sighs. "Okay, I get that. And...you might be right. I'm just thinking, y'know, trying to make things easier on Darkgate." Then a shrug. "Who knows, though...maybe it won't be a burden on them at all."

"You... could reverse it" she says

"I could...." she echoes, then pauses. "But...he lost his arm so long ago. Before I even knew Spring arts at all!"

"You could.." She explains "Make it a challenge for various arm makers. Betrand, Silver wolf's nockers, some Dougal at earth runes, folks you 've met before... and make it a contest. Have Dark gate agree to a contract with the winner with the best design and ideas and..." Her jaw drops 'Wait, what about Spring?" Clearly that is NOt what she meant

"Oh! I thought you meant, use Spring arts to give him his arm back. And I don't think I could do that, not in any real permanent way. But...a competition makes sense. It makes a lot of sense. I bet Chieftain Hewitt would be all over that!"

A smile "AND... that's not the best part. All the cheap skates who didn't want to chip in for your boyfriend? Myself included" a wsmile" Would probably PAY to see demos with robo arms and moving gauntlets ... just sell tickets. Put it to funding stuff, and it might pay for itself"

"Okay...that's not just clever, that's sneaky." She gives Lucia a fake punch in the shoulder. "I knew I liked you for a reason."

"BBC? Show.. it's a comedy.. the joke is you can't trust blackadder so i I was playing coy and. ..." A blush "I'm a geek"

"BBC? So, it's like Monty Python? Or more like Doctor Who?"

"More Monty, definitely" A grin

"Anyway... I had the idea, but you're the one who can make it work. YOu've got a gift"

"Well, I'm totally going to give you credit for the idea when I talk to the Chieftain about it." She offers a her a hug.

She hugs back "Thanks."
