Colton enters with Sylvi, "Wow, this place is hardly touched by that flood back" He says

"Well...there's not a trod here. But most of the local damage got handled pretty quickly by Dad and Dagmar."

"And I bet this place took in any one that needed it" He smiles at the little bird

"Well...I wasn't here...but I'm sure the others helped wherever they could. Hello?" she calls out. "Anybody here?"

"Here" Linwood says and comes out

"Hey, Linwood. How'd things go?"

"Well, folks were freaking out... oh, that satyr refugee is at the lodge. lots of people trying to get in contact with old motleys in Willows and such. "

"Right, I haven't met him yet, but I heard he was at the Lodge. I'm going to head downstairs and say high to the 'Fire." She tugs Colton's hand gently to draw him along.

"Ah, Colton?" Linwood says "Question"

"Is it about the arm?" Colton says with a sigh

"Yes?"

"Oh, right..."

She bites her lip. "Sorry, Colton. I'm kind of used to it already."

"Fashions change, Linwood. Got rid of the thing you know? it was so.. 2020" Colton says with an absolutely dead pan face "Considering mother of pearl"

"Oh.oh" Linwood says "uhm. that would be nice"

Sylvi smiles. "Or maybe wire filigree?"

"Uh sure" Linwood says and backs away slow.

Colton moves down the steps with her, before breaking into a chuckle "Okay maybe that was mean of me but I enjoyed it"

"Me, too!" she says with a bit of a giggle.

They come down to the fire, a small plucky thing it is

Sylvi inhales as she gets close to the flame, enjoying the feel of its energy. "Hey there..." she lets go of Colton's hand and moves to the balefire. "Everything okay?" she murmurs to the flame.

The flame flutters to her wrist , brassy as ever.. okay maybe things got a little scary, but it's got this. They do.

"Yeah, tough stuff," she says with a smile, and offers the flame a little bit of her own glamour.

It drinks it up happy

"SYLVI!" Piper calls down the stairs, possibly ruining the moment.

"Isn't your hold supposed to give YOU glamour?" Colton says

"It's a mutual thing," she murmurs in a dreamy voice. Then Piper calls down and Sylvi laughs. "Down here, Piper!"

"I'M GOING ON AN ADVENTURE WITH YOUR DAD AND DAGMAR, KAY?"

"Um...Sure? Is there trouble?"

"I.." Colton blinks "this happen often?" At the bellow

"Oh, all the time," she says to Colton.

"None that we know of! But there might be some!" Cheerful! "That's why we have your dad!"

Clipping halfway down the stairs so she needn't project.

"He wouldn't let us trod to Willows on our own."

"Well, yeah, thinks are crazy out there on the trods right now. Why not just use Siv's ship?"

"Loooong story. Hey, speaking of Siv? Can you take her out on a girl's night? It's important. And make sure she knows she's invited to your Freeholder meeting."

"Um, sure? The meeting won't happen until you and Dagmar are back though."

"Kay! See you soon!"

"Have fun?" Colton calls out

"Be safe!" Sylvi adds.

She looks to Colton. "Yeah, there's a lot of upstairs/downstairs yelling." She shrugs. "We're informal."

"Some military part of me is shuddering, but I'll live" He assures

"Oh, Mic..." She sighs and picks him up. "You lunk. You're not supposed to go upstairs in the first place!"
