Oddly, the Guidestone backlash hindered Goldfinch not at all, as few trods connect even within five miles!

Sylvi only knows about it because her mother told her. Now that she's assured herself that her father's okay, she's trying to reach her boyfriend while also checking around to see if Jordan is present. Not surprisingly, one of these tasks is taking more of her attention -- the search for Jordan is decidedly half-assed.

Speaking of asses, no sign of Jordan.

However, Ramona the Boggan is there. The Wingless one as she jokes.

Sylvi has her phone to her ear and a frown on her face as she asks Ramona, "Have you seen Jordan?"

"Jordan? No. Saw Linwood, he's in Studio 2. He might know, they're both centaurs"

She gives Ramona a look, but doesn't joke about her being kithist. She's too distracted by the phone situation. Still, her dad asked her to do something, so... Studio 2 it is.

She peeks in the window, and sees Linwood playing a Stevi Wonder bit

But he's near the end

She waits, and the music is a bit soothing, but she's also impatient.

And he finishes up, sees her, and stops record, opening the door "Hey, everything okay?"

"Um...actually, not really, no. Some big trouble with the trods. And my Dad wants to talk to Jordan. You seen him?"

"Uh" His eyes grow wide "Last I heard, he was ON the trods. He...was practicing the Dreamcraft your dad taught him"

"Oh, FUCK." Some rapid texting ensues.

The words that come back to her are not reassuring

Linwood sees Sylvi's expression shift to one of grim determination.

"You okay?" Linwood asks "Oh , silly question. Can we help somehow with..whatever?"

"You and Ramona can keep guard on Goldfinch. Tell Piper what's going on. I'm going with my Dad." She turns and rushes to grab her spear, and she's out the door and on the way to Rivervale.

And off she goes
