She nods, letting the single note flow, setting the rythym, and then she adds the rhyme, singing, softly at first.

Standing behind him, she shifts his hand over to a new key, same rhythm, anyone can tap to a beat. (tink tink tink tink tink tink tink tink tink tink!)

Her arms reach around the small boy, deftly playing the other notes that rely on Dennis's simple beat. She sings out, not loud, not trying to reach the back of a crowded venue, but intensely.

"I mean she wasn't good, you are" Lucia says then.. hears the swelling of music and the kids joining in , happy "Woww, she's good"

"She's smart, too," Sylvi says about Piper as she hands a slice to the last of the stragglers. "Turning this into a party with music is going to make a big difference in their mood."

The last few notes of the song die away, and she blinks, coming back from somewhere else she had been for a moment. A smile at the kids.

"Okay, now who else wants to try? Dennis here is a master pianist, and he can show you the ropes..."

Luca nods to Sylvi "Goldfinch helps ... there's an element of defiance and indpenedencei n this place. " A whisper "Even the sons of adam and daughters of eve can feel it"

That gets a mischievous smile. "Good. Then we're doing it right. Hey, did I see some pasta, too? I could use a bite."

"Yeah" her boggan friend grins "I kept some NON Pizza too. Your favorite pasta in fact" She shows her "Help yourself."

Soon the kids who want to are tootling along offkey on recorders or plinking keys or tapping at the drums...

And the kids all ask Dennis "How do you... " "can I?" " Is it hard?"

And yes, one girl might make PIper smile, she's banging that tamberine like it's 1969

It's loud, it's raucous, it's off-key, but it's somehow brilliant at the same time.

"Ooooohhh..." And soon Sylvi has a plate of fantastic lasagna. "Oh-Em-Gee," she says even though her mouth is full. "I needed this!"

A smile at Piper and a thumbs up. Creative chaos is precisely what is needed!

LUcia arches a brow "THese kids are going to end up as hippies and PINK! fans"

but then she grins as she can't keep up a face of dissapprova

She sighs and checks her phone. "I wish we knew what's going on."

Piper checks her phone as well in between wrangling, and looks relieved.

New reports coming... but nothing about the bad guy's capture. Updatesof who is patrolling where, which kids are checked up on and accounted for

And the kids kind of go a bit nuts. No longer afraid, fearless! Screaming and charging, trying to leap down stairs.... but they also create some glamour! Born of courage!

"Hoo-boy..." Sylvi mutters as she finishes eating. "Creative chaos. Not whatever this is."

But yes, some have been mused

"Fight the man!" Tamberine girl yells

"Though this isn't bad, exactly." And then she laughs and raises a fist in solidarity with the tambourine girl.

"Ahhh. no, not there, don't- speakers aren't for climbing..."

Plucking a little girl off the side of a stand.

"Ah, PIper, how about a conga line?" Luca suggests hoping to at least direct the energy

"Yes!" She snaps her fingers, and soon is organizing a conga...

This leads to a conga line and more.. organized yet still creative Chaos
