Piper is looking for Sylvi!

Sylvi arrives, clapping snow off her mittens and stomping her boots. "Ugh, this is not a pretty winter."

Sylvi would have seen that the pathway to the hold is cleared and free of snow or ice! Not even shoveled looking, there is no mounded snow around.

"Hey, great job out front!" she calls out as she toes off her boots in the entryway.

Piper is brimming with excitement. "I did it! Well, Prissy helped...."

Sylvi blinks. "Um...well, you two did a really good job, but I've never seen you this excited about shoveling snow...?"

"I didn't! I'm... I'm a firebender!" BIG GRIN.

A blink. "You're a what now?"

"I have Pyretics. I melted the snow!"

A bright smile! "I didn't know you were aiming for pyro-arts! Congrats!"

"I wasn't.... that's the weird thing. It just... happened. Not that I'm complaining. Oh! But, Vali said I should talk to you. I'm worried about the storm. What if the Firebrands can't make it to Goldfinch? Is there a way I can help?"

"It's her first Imbolc, it's important."

"It just...happened? Wow, Piper...that's wild!" Then a frown at the sudden shift in topic. "Well, I mean, if they go to Rivervale first, Rivervale's not going to let anybody get hurt on the way from there to here. Although...it is a crazy storm. You heard about May's roof?"

"May?" She looks puzzled. "Don't think I did..." Does she know a May at the freehold? Doesn't ring a bell.

well, she might remember Dagmar's bet dreamer friend

Nope... "Coming up a blank. What happened?"

"You might not know her. She goes to our school, but she's not fae. She's a hella powerful dreamer, though. Anyway...the storm caved her roof in. She got hurt, and she's in the hospital now. I'm going to go see her a bit later."

"That's awful! Can you sneak some healing to her?"

"Well, maybe, but I don't want to freak out her family or the doctors if she heals too fast. "

"Right." She considers. "Is your Dad okay? He's out working on the trods, in the middle of everything..."

"Oh, I'm sure he is. I mean...he's dad, y'know?" She grins...though it might falter a bit now that Piper has put the concern front and center. "I mean...right?"

"Sylvi, I'm not boggan, but even I can tell you're worried. And you might be right to be, it's crazy out there. Let's work this out. How can I help? I might only know a little Pyretics, but it's enough to melt snow, and earlier I put a cantrip on Vali's coat that had him sweating all the way back to RV. How can I help?"

A blink. "You...you'd be willing to go out and help in this?" she gestures at the skittering of snow and frozen raindrops hitting the window as the wind blows them sideways.

"Of course I would! I mean, maybe not alone, if you or someone would come with, buddy system and all.. but... you all would do the same for me, right?"

A momentary pause, and then Piper finds herself engulfed in an enthusiastic trollish embrace. "Thankyouthankyouthankyou!"

"Ooooof."

A grin and she hugs back.

"Oh!" releasing her, "but somebody needs to stay here, at the freehold...." She bites her lip.

the fire roars..well, tries to roar.

"I got it" A voice speaks up . Prissy!

"Do your thang" She comes down, hair in rollers

"Prissy, thank..." A blink at the rollers. "Uh...new look?"

"I was folowing your youtube video but I got bored so I skipped a head a bit and.. I don't want to talk abou it. I'll protect the fuckingg flame"

"I totally owe you a makeover," Sylvi says, pulling her boots back on before grabbing her coat. "Piper, come on...he was working on moving the trod terminus to DarkGate, so that's where we should start."

"Let's roll!"

And roll they do.

Prissy says "Sides, if anyone else saw me looking like this, I'd have to kill em so best I hole up" A look to the fire "Don't think this means we're friends"

Balefire shouldn't dimple, but this is Sylvi's bale, so.. of course it does
