Sylvi meticulously washes out her makeup brushes in the bathroom sink.

Her phone blips! A Text!

From Piper - TXT: "Bringing in a fresh new friend with a half-baked +1. Are you around to be welcome wagon?"

A reply text soon arrives: I'm up for it! Looking forward to it!

And shortly, there's a happy song from the bird as new glamour is brougght in

She has already set her brushes to dry out, and she smiles at the bird's announcement. "Hello?" she says and she heads towards the front of the studio.

Piper is asking Jonas, "Should we put out an APB in case there is any stray glamour or chimera around from the Pop?"

"Let Sylvi decide... annd.. there she is"

A Nocker Grump , gliterinng with sun hued glamour looks about... "is that bird sinngingg AT us?"

A mortal boy with his hair up and enchanted.. ggapes at ...everythinngg

"Tada! These are our new friends, Cindi, and her son Mike."

"Cindi, this is Freeholder Sylvi, she's pretty much the boss around here."

"Hey!" She beams as she gets hit with that glamour rush. "Ooof! Welcome aboard! Heck of a ride, huh? Cindi, Mike, I'm Sylvi." She reaches out to shake both of their hands. "Having fun yet?"

"Sunny, not Cindy" Sunny corrects them both, "I.. how many giants are there?"

Her son, Mike, shakes first

Piper blushes a bit. "Sorry, blonde moment. Sunny!"

"Sunny! Great name. And around this town, there's a pretty good number of us."

"Come on in. Mike, you're going to forget most of this by tomorrow, so I don't think there's a problem with showing you around the hold here."

"Wait? I'm going to forget piper? tha sucks" He looks adoringly at piper

"You might remember her kind of as a dream. Like...a general idea of a nice person you'd like to meet someday." A wink to Piper.

Sunny sighs "Son? Be polite. Don't leer' " She looks about "This place is lovely. So much furking music I could puke" then she blinks "Sorry, my mouh is firing off"

A laugh. "That's nothing. Wait until you get pissed off at something for real. Come on..." She leads the way towards the door leading down to the freehold proper. "Follow close. It's easy to get turned around here."

And mohterr and son follow

Jonas looks to Piper "Good work, my love"

"You two coming?" Sylvi calls back to Jonas and Piper.

Piper steps up onto a chair and gives Jonas a quick, but thorough kiss, and THEN follows.

"So, I found this cool jacket..." Piper recants the story to Sylvi as they go.

And down the basement stairs they go, and the little glimmer of balefire glamour calls out to them as they get closer, eager to meet the new arrivals.

Indeed ... the jacket now fits Piper to a tee

"Clothing design? That's awesome."

"Ooooooh...I have coat envy."

"Oh yes.. I..."

"Dad nnever believed in her" Her son speaks up "He.. he never knew she was special"

Sylvi looks from Mike to Sunny. "I'm sorry. That's gotta suck. But...he literally did NOT know what he was talking about."

"No he damn well did not.. " She smiles "if you need a coat made though I've gotten really good with pleather and faux fur"

Sunny looks a the bale "It feels like freedom and joy "

"Oh, I would totally love that!" Then she smiles proudly at the balefire. "It does. It is."

A look to Piper. "Has she gotten the Fae 101 run-down yet?"

"We gave her the basics on the walk over, and I'm sure she'll get repeats. But I wanted you to meet her first! Do you think, maybe, we have some space for a fashion design room?"

She looks back at Sunny and adds, "Not to push or anything, but girl, you have 50 tons of clothing in a 30 ton apartment. And we HAVE the space, and with what you are CREATING? It belongs in a freehold!"

"Uh...." She thinks for a moment. "How about upstairs? Above the recording rooms, the upper floor? There's not much up there now."

"Upstairs would be great.. and I got this rundown on the Esch.. eschear.. dam it" Sunny sighs "Can't pronounce it"

"Escheat. Yeah, good. Okay, so...you've met trolls and a satyr at least, and you know you're a nocker, right? So there's others, too...."

And they settle in for some intro time by the balefire.

Sunny lives up to her name, her glamour warming the place and feeding the fire
