The troll girl looks Dubious to be here. And whispers to her guide "THIS is a hold?"

"Appearances can be deceiving, Gwen" Lucia smiles, 'Come on... it's prrety cool all around. Though I'd thought they'd have fixed the window by now" She eyes the cardboarded set up

Gwen didn't want to be rude , and comes in. Compared to the lodge, this feels small, and compared to Silverwolf, it feels a bit , no, cheap's not the word, but simplistic? But once she enters, she sees what the boggan means

She can hear music being practiced from one of the closed studios.

"It looks nice" Gwen admits, "You sure folks wonn't think I'm an Ailil Spy?" only half joking

"A troll spy?" Lucia replies "Not too likely" Okay, except for Siv, and rumors about Vali in his youth "Look, it's an open hold, but it also has protection. Only a lunatic would try to take it by force because they might hold it, but not for long."

The music finishes up, and a voice is heard - "Great job, Pinja! Take a break... and I promised your mom you'd be back with the crew in the afternoon, so that's it for now."

Popping out of the studio is a 5-foot-nothing satyr with curly blond hair, a guitar under one arm, and the newest thing she is never without, a pen and notebook in the other hand.

Lucia waves "Hey, Piper. Have you met Gwen?"

The straight haired Native American giantess of stone waves

Her gaze goes over to the Troll, and... appreciatively, up and down her length. A slightly bigger smile. "I haven't had the pleasure yet, no." Trotting over, she offers a hand UP to the Troll. "Piper McCormick, Studio Manager. I'm subbing in for Freeholder Sylvi if you have any questions."

"Gwen, I'm... not a local, from Silverwolf actually" She takes the hand gently and gives a soft squeeze "Lucia was just showing me around." A pause "I'm not a spy." Oh god why did I say that?

"Dame Lavender D'Lorean is also in town, but she's focused on the horses at the lodge" Lucia adds

"Silverwolf? Oh! Did Sylvi work out that kerfuffle then?"

"Kerfluffle?" Gwen raises a brow "She's gone to SIlverwolf to work something out?"

Piper pauses, then laughs. "Oh, no biggie. I think it was just makeup advise. Maybe for an important date or something."

"Hey, you wanna see the workspaces?"

"Make up advice?" A frown . Clearly that seems odd. "For who?"

"Probably Nadeen" Lucia adds, "They're friends, right , PIper?"

"Totally. They go way back, before I came to town. You know Sylvi, Gwen? She used to be Bridge up at Dee-Gee? Or maybe she still is... it's a bit fuzzy. ANYWAYS, she's the head honcho here, and also I'm hoping she has time to spearhead some tutorial classes on streaming setup and etiquette..."

Bubbly chatter!

"I met her once or twice... " Gwen is sure she's missing somethin here but Piper's like a verbal avalanche keeps her from finding her own footing in this discussion. And Lucia also chimes in with the Satyr.. so Gwen's forced to adapt from the subjectt they want her to be on "Well it seems she's got her handfull. I admit, if I hadn't been told I wouldn't know this was a hold" She whispers the last in case a mortal comes out

"Teeeeeeechnically the hold, is in the basement." Piper says in a conspiratorial tone. "Up here is open season for mortals. Ah, I didn't mean it to sound like that. I mean, open doors. Well, not OPEN, it's appointment only, but... well, we're hoping to build up our own reservoir of dreamers here by giving them a safe space to dream."

"OH that's clever" Gwen admits, impressed, "Dreamers aren't in great abundance where I live. I mean we have some but letigg them have place to thrive is great" Note to self: Find a way to get a Klin going

"Something I've been finding out... is that sometimes dreamers exist where you lease expect them. You just need to find the seeds, and wake them up."

"It's the waking them up part that's hard, Especially when they want to give up" Gwen mmphs.

"Just keep at it. Everyone has a passion, just gotta find it and fan the flames."

"I'll try," Gwen admits "I actually feel a bit guilty taking this time off from the dogs, but Mischka is resting up a bit so.... oh sorry, you wanted o show me the working areas?"

"Oh, THAT's who you are!" She snaps her fingers in realization. Suddenly Rikki's comments about the "Dog Pimp" make sense.

"I mean,, um. Nevermind. So here are the workshops we have done... this one for recording, over there is dance, and we have a couple that are general practice space or tutoring for now..."

At one of the one's for recording, she looks about, "Helloooo" testing accoustics

It echoes and reverberates in a most interesting way!

"Do you play any instruments?"

"Uhm..." A blush "I'm in music class"

"But, like, just learning"

A momentary expression of longing. "Oh... I loved music class when I was in school."

"WHy don't you take it now?" She asks

Her cheeks flush. "I dropped out a couple years ago. It's okay, I have my own thing going now. And seriously, who has the time?"

"I mean, I wasn't really learning from music class in high school, not at that level. It was fun, though. But hey, now I'm teaching music classes - at least, one on one tutoring, and that's amazing in it's own way."

The short blond doesn't really look that much older than Gwen herself, but the height may be deceiving!

Gwen raises a brow, "But..what about your future? Don't you worry about... I don't knonw, providing? For your family and loved ones as well as yourself?"

She raises a brow back, and grins. "I'm not even 20 yet and I already manage a studio. I have a job on the side, and I can find dreamers AND pay my bills. A diploma or degree might be a nice accent to a wall, but it didn't get me where I am today, and I'm proud of where I'm at."

"Plus?" She can't resist, leaning in and adding "I have TWO Trolls in my boudoir that just love taking care of me, and each other."

GWEN flushes blood red "How very nice for you I'm sure. SO Music you say? I'm learning wood winds. It's actually more of a change up than I thought because I wanted to learn the Native American woodflute, but what the shool had was metal flutes euro syle... boht are lovely but held differently so.. so I ... you know, practice at home with the other"

Lucia 's eyes bug out as she wars with either chastising Piper or giggling.

"Oooh! You've GOT to show me what you know. I love the sound of wind instruments, brass too, but I've kept my focus on stuff that lets me sing along." A wink to Lucia.

"Here, I'll show you my instrument collection..."

And off they go to see Piper's Etchings Instruments
