The window is done.. Bert sits back annd looks it over. And nods "I'm damned good"

“ Can we cover it back up for now? I kinda was thinking it would be nice to show Sylvi first. Like, when we officially open the Studio.”

"Sure... I'll get the cardboard" he nods "You're all paid up so no need for me to hang around. Less you have other jobs?"

"Nothing I can think of that's worth your talent." She admits. "Though if you happen to know someone who's into the technical nature of AV and recording equipment - nocker, Dougal, heck even a pooka who knows how to run the cables - I'd be grateful for a referral."

"You kidding? I got plenty of contacts. I'll set you up."

Her eyes light up. "Thank GOD. I was worried I'd have to try to learn it, and I can't even hook up a router."

"This is me, trying not to furkin judge you.." the cajun fello blinks "Can't do it. It's the 21st century, how can you NOT know how to hook up a router ... " He holds up a hand "Wait, furkinnn stopping.. I'll get you a call NOW. This is clearly a tragedy about to strike otherwise"

She grins at him. "Let's hear you play a minor scale in key of C."

A pause then "Isnn' that more an 18th century skill?"

He gets a tongue stuck out at him! "Music is the universal language."

"Well, along with Math, I've been told." She makes a face at THAT.

"Oh math's easy" he shrugs "Okay. I set you up with a contact who should be here early tomorrow"

"If that recording thingy works out, let me know, okay? I'd be glad to play for you again. And I'll be sure to recommend you to anyone who needs glass work."

"Word of mouth is as good as gold, thanks" A nod "And I'll let you know"

She waves as he heads out, and then muffles an excited squeal. Things are really starting to fall into place - and she can't wait to show Sylvi the new window. Soon...
