"Move over, Hermano. My turn" Demos says , "Rosita gave me this for the boss" A fresh cup of coffee

"Oh, thanks." she sets the coffee next to her next stack, keeps working.

Phobos tags out, Demos sits down "De Nada" he says . After a time he says "Boss? Can I ask you a question?"

"Sure."

"We catch this ravager, I know killing is probably out, but we aren't going to go soft on him? are we? Can't afford to be seen as weak"

"Go soft? What do you mean?"

"No slap on the wrist, no 'month long grounding with counseling' kind of shit?" He asks

A shrug. "I can't answer without more information. I'm not interested in coddling Ravagers, believe me. But I don't know the details yet."

"Well, Duke Tierone is a Liam and not likely to like it if we go easy, and frankly, you let one ravager get away with it and a half dozen more will pop up"

She looks up, makes eye contact. "I know. And I have personal feelings about it too. But personal is not the same as important. I need to know more."

Demos snorts but nods "You're the boss."

"Thanks."

"De Nada" He repeats, "You maybe soft hearted sometimes, but you don't break. Wouldn't follow you if you did."

A short snuff. "Thanks, again."

A grunt nod that is almost trollish

She gets more paperwork done... and notices...

looks like there is a request to serve at the hold!

She glances it over; Diego or another are more likely to sort it out.

Looks like someone wants a job as a maid if allowed, a boggan from the chimeric script.

Maria or Rosa then. Or maybe Diego, who is Jess to judge?

"Want me to yell for someone?" Demos notices her seeming to consider something

"No, no reason." She sets it aside and keeps working.

Demos nods "Jack and this new guy will find something soon. I feel a hunt in my bones"

"Mm. I look forward to a resolution."

He grunts in agreement "Me too"
