"Diego, aren't you also a football fan?" Jess cues him to come and help with the mortal.

"Damn straight, and I know how you feel, more than once I've watched so called fans desert a team when things got tough"

As Diego does as directed

Jess nods, dropping back a bit so Diego and take over, and she can make contact with Coy.

Coy moves to her "Sorry, Jessica. Diego texted us that a ravager had attacked near her. We've got a patrol outside but so far nothing. One kithain did say it appeared to be a clurichaun.. and those are nearly impossible to catch. You look away and blink"

Jess nods. "Understood. We didn't dare leave him alone, you know?" she murmurs.

"You were worried he'd self harm or worse?"

She nods. "I was trying to figure out what drew the Ravager to him but... I haven't got a clue. Maybe Diego will have better luck."

"Maybe they just wanted a meal, though this fellow isn't on our regular dreamer list"

"Let's rectify that."

A nod "Will do. Seems an average joe. There's NO excuse for ravaging so close to an open hold. No legitimate or moral one anyway"

"Agreed. Have to wonder what attracted him. Or her. Why this guy?"

"I've heard some get addicted to it." A brow knit "Hard to be kind about it though. it can scar dreamers for life" A pause "Sorry, you know this"

"Point is, this guy doesn't... I mean, ok, he was just Ravaged, or nearly so.... but he wasn't on our lists and he doesn't seem to have anything he's passionate about. Except football, and that was his dad's thing."

"mmm" A nod "May I suggest we get one of our pooka on it? they can get anyone talking"

"Excellent idea, yes, thank you."

He nods "I'll text to see if we get some volunteers" A look over "Diego is making progress I think"

"Good." she glances over too.

Diego seems to be singing fan songs and chants with the victim, perhaps to gift of pan a bit?

Jess stiffens, and nods to Coy; she's going to step outside, he should come with her.

He nods, mutters "I don't want to hear that anymore than you do" And they step out together

Jess scans the street.

She sees some of her thanes roaming about looking for evidence and clues of the ravager. No mortals out currently , not near enough to hear

"Are you next on the roster for babysitting duty?" she asks Coy.

"If you want me to be. Phobos was scheduled, but the ravaging threw things off"

"I should stay here, then. Let him handle that, then he and Diego can switch off."

"As you like. I plan to keep the search for the ravager going"

"Well, wait just a bit with me? Til Diego's done."

"Of course"

"But.. how long will he be?"

"No idea."

"mmph." A nod and he waits

Jess stays watchful, and waits.

Diego comes out after fifteen minutes "Well, that was a patch job at best." Frustrated

"Diego, you can be very inspiring" Coy says "You did better than most"

"I wasn't getting anywhere." Jess agrees "Thank you."

"Actually you were the key, Jessica. You got him talking about sports and his father.. it DOES tie to his dreams I think.. .I think he wants to spread his father's ashes there"

"Where?"

"At team's stadium, small though it is" Diego says "I'm not sure. Mostly I used the gift of pan to ease his banality"

"That was probably the right call." Jess agrees. "Maybe we can help him with that."

"PErhaps Jack will..oh dear god" A realziation "Jack may find this ravager and.. well, Sir Jack IS a Liam"

"You would think word would have got around about that. Can you get a message to Jack?"

"I'll text. What should I say? Don't kill him?"

"If possible. Capture, not kill."

He texts

And nods "I sent it"
