"I guess. They seem to be. I don't want to speak for them, you know? Important thing is they're -doing- something."

She nods "I'm surprised you're not handling this yourself. Your mother and you not that close?"

A shrug, uncomfortable "After I Crystalised.... she already had pretty bitter feelings about dad, because of -his- Dream Dance and what happened. And then ... I mean -she- thought I was taking up the same bad habits and... there were a lot of fights my senior year of high school. I got away as quick as I could, went to live with them in Apples."

A nod "I'm sorry, being misunderstood by family isn't easy for anyone."

A shrug. "I guess a lot of Fae go through it. Rubbed Dad the wrong way, in his time. I didn't love it but I had his example in front of me so I think it was easier."

"For Arcadian Sidhe it's different, we litterally ARE intruders, and make few apologies for it but... there are lingering feelings, memories and in a way we're invaded back. But over all, we are aloof compared to those who went the Changeling Way"

"I can't say I have experience like that, of course... but I didn't mean anything like that. I would think it holds true for Sidhe of any kind as well as other Fae; -most- of us end up having to leave at least parts of our mortal lives behind to embrace the Fae parts of our lives, you know? We develop weird friends and missing time and odd habits... at least, to mortals, even those who know and love us."

"They feel cut out ,and when we try to bring them along, it does not often go well for them" She nods

"Or they just can't handle the changes, how we have changed." she shrugs, sips.

"That's true. ANd hence, Westward goes a wandering, or so the story tells."

A soft snort of amusement. "Not exactly."

"The minstrels are a menace" A smile and a drink

A shrug. "They have a job to do." She shifts in her seat.

"Still a menace, but yes. " She says "I am feeling a bit better. THank you"

"I'm glad to hear it, but you stay until you're -all- the way better." firmly.

"Yes, my friend and liege. I won't butt heads with you on it. Tonight anyway"

"Good." She sighs, shifts again.

"Feeling restless?"

"Lil bit."

"If I were in better shape I'd spare with you, burn the energy off"

"I appreciate the offer. Once Constance has a meeting set up and we have a schedule or something, I'll see if I can get a running partner. Or patrol. That would help."

"True, you've always been good in productive motion. "

Phobos approaches "Boss?"

"Yeah, Phobos?" she looks up.

"Constance gave us the news, said you wanted us for some kind of meeting, did you want to meet us one at a time or like all at once?"

"All at once, or as much as possible."

"Okay" he nods and goes to fill folks in

Jess sips her drink, sets it down.

"Looks like it's about to start soon" The Sidhe notes "Can I eavesdrop?"

"I want to say yes." Jess admits "But maybe the fewer people that know what's up the better? We still don't know who's behind this, or how they did it."

"Mmmph, your'e rough on the old Eiluned curiosity, my friend, but at the same time I respect the thinking. I'll stay out"

"I'm sorry." sincerely "I'll fill you in when I can."

A soft nod "You do what you have to do. "

She nods and forces herself to sit still.

And Constance comes out "Gathered the majority of them in the conference area, your excellency"

Jess is up like a shot. "Rest up, Mitra...." perhaps forgetting titles, she joins Constance and together they head to the Ritual room.

Mitra smiles and watches her go

The crowd awaits them, some more aware than others what's going on

"Hey everyone, thanks for coming. What I'm going to tell you has to be in the strictest confidence. I trust all of you. Here's what's happened....." and she lays it all out for them.

"You want us to kill whoever did this to your mom?" Demos asks helpful

"Not necessarily. See.... ok, this isn't an excuse. I'm... not comfortable that I let this happen. But Samhain.... that's when I got the note and the flower. When I woke up the morning after. I guess that's about when they took her, and did whatever to make Richard think she's here with me. So I don't remember -how- the note and the flower ended up in my room. -BUT- they said they'd contact me again. So... what I want is... basically... not to be alone. Ever. At all." She does not look comfortable saying this, but she says it.

"If there's someone else with me at all times, maybe there's a chance we can figure out who did this."

"Let this happen?" Coy is raises a brow "I don't think you LET anything happen, Jessica. It was done by others, and they took advantage of the mists "

"He's got that right, let's not blame the victim here" Delphine says

"Yeah, well." she shrugs. "I figure if Delphine and Constance don't mind taking overnights? You can trade off and everyone else can chip in when and where needed?"

"Sure thing, I'm a night owl anyway" Delphine nods

"Ok, so... is everyone on board?"

"If you can't be, I understand. Just keep this a secret, and you can go."

Some talk among themselves about swaps and back ups, then Phoboes says "We gotta keep this secret, that's good, but what about the Boggans and sluagh? We sure thsi area is secure?"

"As sure as I can be. There were protections woven into its building, as I understand it."
