Jess shrugs. "They used Goblin parchment, got in here during Samhain when we're least likely to remember.... they didn't leave any way to contact them."

"Yes, but they will likely contact you again. Perhaps they will not do so by telephone, but if they do or you have some other chance to speak to them, insist on that."

"I will." She repeats.

"But better than that would be to get her back."

"Of course. What fast options do you have for getting to San Diego?"

A shrug. "My car, I guess? Or bike."

"I don't think I should go, though, unless I'm missing something? Whoever... has her says I need to change things about the Town Halls. I need to work with Diego on that."

"I agree, you must stay here to follow their demands. If we may borrow your car, that will be best."

Jess blinks. "It's... not much. Um. Kinda tiny. I couldn't afford more."

"I can see if we can borrow a truck or something?"

"Perhaps that would be best. Or..." A look to Frank. "We can rent one?"

Frank nods. "We can. Why don't we worry about that and Jess can focus on here. We'll keep in touch."

"Um." Jess offers "What... um, what are you going to do in San Diego? Richard thinks Mom's here."

"With me, I mean."

"Agreed." to Frank. Then to Jessica, "Well, we are not going to seek out Richard. But we will seek out this Cal-bel, I think, and what freeholds might be of help."

Jess seems conflicted for a moment, then nods. "Ok. Of course, sure."

"We also have a telephone number to work with, but better if we not call it from here."

Jess nods. "Ok. I'll check on Mitra and find Diego." She fidgets, ready to take action.

Mitra is by the fire as ordered , and Diego? He's actually heading in "Jessica? Your parents are here? Do they need anything from Fenix?"
