"Where are your thoughts going?" Sir Jack asks

Jess is frowning in confusion too; she doesn't follow either.

Tweak gives both of them a disbelieving look that shifts to one of impatience. "You fuckers done forget my lil girl be of the stingin' insect persuasion?"

A blink. Yes, yes she had.

"Oh"

Sir Jack inquires "is there a safe way to answer that question?"

A noise of disgust, then she calls out to whatever staff is nearby, "SOMEBODY GET EYES ON MY GIRL!" She turns and stomps off, gesturing for them to follow. "She got her own mini workshop...might be in there." The grumble of a worried mother.

"Your kid? I ain't a furkihng baby sitter, my PROJECTS are my baby!" One nocker calls out. Spock and Scotti, the two sidhe (Not their real names) do a quick 'rock paper scissors' . Scotti loses ,and the Dougal sidhe goes to look for Shuri

And , of course, Tweak is followed. When the crew goes into the mini lab, they hear the sound of bubbling liquids

"Yer gonna hafta work on yer projects in the damn alley if you ain't careful!" she calls back, and it doesn't sound like a bluff. When they reach the door to the minilab, she almost pushes the doors open, but stops herself, takes a breath, and knocks three times. Seems like she treats her daughter's workspace as sacred as she wants others to treat her own.

"Bizz-buzz! Gotta talk to you!"

"Mamacita?" The bubbling sounds die down "Okay" She says "Safe" A warning that her experiment will NOT Kill anyone. Maim at the most

Jess goes with Tweak.

Of course, the girl IS a pooka

Tweak apparently takes that as permission to enter, too. "Don't touch nothin'," she warns the others as she pushes the door open. "Babygirl," she says with relief.

"C'mere." She holds out her arms to the little pooka in goggles.

As they enter, Tweak's foot hits a trip wire. This releases a snare holding a tube. The tube falls, smacking a domino chaIn. The dominos fall forward, clatter clatter clatter.... and hit a switch with a ballon. THe balloon fills. Then, it lifts a string. THAT string rises up and pulls something else. There's a pop, and a wad of Silly Putty launches at Tweak's face even as she holds out her hand for her little girl!

(Dex plus Athletics or Dodge to avoid... for both Tweak, and then Jessica)

(Splatter zone, still. 🙂 )

The play dough looking stuff splats Tweak right in the forehead, and then breaks into gooey loose streands. This goes over Tweak's skull, and also down...which is bad, as she had her mouth open and now has some of it in there. It tastes like SICKLY sweet honey mixed with playdough... the bit that went OVER Tweak's head ALMOST hits Jessica, who twists to the side and avoids it, barely. A few stray bits hit Jack and Demos, but to be fair, Jack being a sidhe, still looks great.

Shuri claps her hands "SCIENZE, WITCHES!"

Jess peers carefully back into the room, and then around it. And up. And down.Carefully.

"BLECHHH!" Tweak coughs and splutters and curses...but after a moment, she also snickers. "That was AWESOME, Bizz-Buzz!"

THAT gets Tweak a BIG hug from her daughter who almost flies into her arms

She claws some of the goop out of her unruly hair.

...and gives a BIG hug, mushing some of the stuff into Shuri's hair as payback.

THe room is organized chaos. A messy system. It has devices here and there, and so many supplies. Experiments are on going. One Barbie doll in a lab coat appears to be near Ken, who is strapped down in what WAS a Barbie dream house but has been altered to look like a mad science lab

Shuri giggles as her mom gets her back, "you touch the fro, you got to go" Why oh why did Nec introduce her to Undercover Brother?

"Found her, Captain" Scotti says deadpan

The ilttle genius then sees Jessica, and BEAMS "ANTI-BLUTOOF!"

"Yeah, you be one sharp fuckin' cookie, Scotti. Getouddahere!"

Scotti bobs her head, and heads back to her project

Tweak watches as Shuri greets Jessica, and keeps trying to get more of the gunk out of her hair.

"Hello Shuri." with a small smile. "It's good to see you."

Tweak notices something on a shelf. A spritzer. Could be a solvent for this stuff. Might be flamable. A gamble

The spritzer's tempting, but she can wait. "Babygirl, Bluetooth be here for a reason. Serious shit. Lissen...." She crouches down to talk to the little girl, though really there's not that much of a size difference between them.

The now sticky Bee Girl WAS going to demand a hug from the troll as well, but at her mother's order to lissen, she settles a bit, her goggled eyes looking ESPECIALLY large

Tweak pauses a moment, holding her daughter's hands, before she asks, "You ever had anybody call you somepin like a 'chosen one'? Maybe even heard it in a dream or some shit?"

Her face falls a little, "Chosen? Oh.. sure I.. I get chosen LOTS"
