The lady takes the cat in her arms once Jessica hands the feline over

Jess hands the cat over. "Very welcome, Seniora."

Once they move on, Mitra smiles "You always do that"

"Rescue cats?"

"Well" She says now that it's just them "Help daughters of eve with what most would see as a minor unimportant thing"

"Then most are blind. She's elderly; that cat might be her only companion, her best friend. The cat was at least nervous to be outside, maybe even scared."

"Your liam influence is showing" She replies "The woman isn 't even a dreamer. Yet you care. I am not saying you should not. Just that many would not"

"But I like that about you, even if I wouldn't usually myself" Mitra admits "You force me to look at a facet I neglect"

"Well... didn't mean to."

"No, it's a good thing. Old Eiluned teaching: "Truth is a gem with many facets" . We believe it's good to learn those facets even if we might argue with them"

"Argue with truth?"

"Isn't that... pointless?"

"Not if it tests them to see if they're really true or just opinion"

Jess thinks about it. "I guess."

"The problem with things as 'a truth' is folks will use that authority to control you, so simplistic truths are to be challenged, and complex truths studied"

They walk for a while, then Jess says "Too rich for my blood."

They continue walking "Oh, you should be glad I'm not one of the champion philosphers aka bullshiters of my House. I always preferred sword to spell, and that raised eyebrows but was allowed. Ignoring intellectual puzzles? Totally forbidden. I will confess, there's something to be said for Alexander's Solution to the Gordian knot"

"I think that might be more my style, yes."

"Yet you're not dim, nor even simple yourself"

A curious look "Sometimes you amaze me. I never thought peace possible, but you saw the bridge even before we got the first brick built"

"I've been making it up as I go along, Mitra."

"You should buy a lottery ticket sometime then" A smile

"Maybe so." she agrees.

They come around the corner and see... grafitti

This is not unusual

But the artwork here is... spectacular

Jess pauses, looking.

It flickers with a dreamer's glamour

She looks to see if the artist tagged it with thier sign.

"I don't recognize this one. It's new" Mitra admires

Jess points out the initials.

"V.V? Huh, still doesn't ring a bell, but a clue to be sure" She looks intrigued

"Maybe Sir Jack will know something."

A sigh "Yes, he probably will"
