And Jessica may have a longer stride, but Mitra is used to it enough to pick up her pace a bit to keep them even

Jess is considerate enough to measure her stride to stay with her friend.

Things are uneventful , mostly. A street gang sees them coming, a year or three ago the gang would have made a move on them, but they've dealt with Jessica and Mitra before and learned to avoid. They stay on good behavior

Jess doesn't -appear- to notice them... but she approves of their choices in this regard.

"We'll make sure they aren't hastling anyone else on the return trip" Mitra mutters

They move around a corner and see an old woman struggling to get her cat down off a ledge

Mitra looks amused "You want to put on your cape before you help her?"

"Haha." Jess says, and judges the height; can she reach pusspuss?

the old lady smiles "You would help me? Thank you. He is a naughty kitty "

"Si, Senora. My pleasure." Jess approaches the ledge/cat and reaches up to lift kitty down. "Pspspspspspspss...."
