I look forward to hosting you as a guest of honor at a celebration fiesta being planned in the near future and would welcome your input in the planning.

"AH, so wwe're bribing him more directly then" She nods and writes it so, taking dictation and then hands it over as said to sign

"Not bribing." she objects "I hadn't mentioned the fiesta yet and figured I'd lead with congratulations and a party plan."

"Should we also send invitations to Regent Mitra and Mama Capataz Tweak ?"

"Yes, please, but get that out to Tidemarch immediately."

"Right away" She nods and whistles "Flex, Specs! Delivery!"

The two brawny little chimera show their guns, grab the item, and fly off to Sunkissed waves

"Thank you!" Jess calls after them.

"And thank you, Constance. You come through the storm ok, need anything?"

"I may need to start taking interviews with some"

"Interviews?"

"For my replacement' She says

"Well, Possible replacement" She says

Jess takes a seat. "Thinking of making a change?"

"Well, Coy's a DeBuke" she says

"And it's getting serious enough you're thinking of moving to the Farmhold. With him, I assume."

"That was always the plan for him" She says 'And I do love him. Also, the family has a rich history worthy of recording"

Jess sighs. "Ok. Yes,, go ahead with starting to look for a new scribe and librarian. Thanks."

Constance looks tempted to say something, then says "I'll get on it"

"Only with whatever urgency -you- have, ok? I'm not in a rush, this is your timetable." Jess stands. "And thanks again for the notes."

Constance nods "I just thought it would be a good idea to make sure I don't leave you in a lurch. And, you're welcome"

"I appreciate that, Constance." she nods, and moves on, thoughtful.

And so, Jessica moves on, thoughtful, moving and thinking, thinking and moving. It's almost as if the story teller of her fate were stalling for time while he considered what for her to encounter next.

"Hello Coy." she greets him. "I was just talking with Constance."

The dutiful DeBuke smiles just a bit at mention of his lady's name "I hope she's doing well? I was thinking of bringing her some coffee"

"She seemed to be yes. She's still working but even if she doesn't need coffee I'm sure she's enjoy a visit."

"Well, she's very busy and I try not to bother her while she's on the clock. Woman has a work ethic to be proud of" He says, and indeed does look proud

"She does, indeed. But she should off the clock soon; we've all been working hard."

"That's true" He nods "I think even Father V wants a vacation after this week. "

"Well, stay tuned for a Fiesta announcment." Jess advises.

"Really?" He says "Constance may love that"

A small smile. "I hope so."

"She is always shy to get on the dance floor but once she does she reather enjoys it" Fondly "I tell you, Jessica. She's smart, she's beautiful, and I'm the luckiest troll alive"

"I'm happy for the both of you." she says sincerely.

"Thank you." He says "And I owe much to you for it. We did meet at work, after all. So to speak. "
