"Ahpuch is very clever in the ways of traps."

"Hmm."

"For defusing, or setting?"

"Oh. Hmm!"

An expressive shrug!

"Seis of one, half dozen of the other?"

"Likely."

"Do you think he set this?"

Eyes WIDE. "Le gasp! But he would no like the churro. It is much too fresh."

"Si, the churro would not tempt him, but would tempt a burro."

"Do we know any burros?"

Wide eyes. "Nope."

"Back to the drawing board." She says, then worries, "What if the churro goes stale?"

"Then Ahpuch could have it, true."

"But Ahpuch is not very big. He does not need many churros." She rubs her tummy.

"He does not. We should not waste a fresh churro."

"Right!"

"How heavy is the box?"

Salma crouches, and tries to reeeeaaaaach for the book or churro. JUST out of reach

"Do we know anyone with legerdemain?"

"Is that cheating?"

"If it is heavy, then we need someone strong. And tall enough to hold it up while we get the churro AND the book."

"But it has to be someone who does not want to keep the loot for themselves."

She ponders.

"Reasonable."

"But who?"

"A troll?"

"Holgar would want us to share." She muses. "He would be gracious, but... that look." She sighs.

"Ohhh, the sad eyes. Point."

"Constanza would want the book for her bibliotecha. And Senor Coy, he would gift it to her."

"Romantic!" She beams.

"...but not useful, no."

The churro smells delicious

Her ears twitch! "Fontaine is tall, but too soggy."

"Soggy churros. Blech!" She makes a 'yuck' face.

"Sers Buce or Tonto might fall into the box for a joke, and crush the churro! Crumbs on the pages!" Aghast.

The Book DOES look so pristine. But she can't make out a title

"Senors Phobos and Demos... they are too hungry." As well as Salma being quite intimidated by the pair of rough enforcers, as polite as they may be for their kind.

Salma looks to Ellie, beseechingly.

"I think we should try the fishing pole."

"Who knows how to fish?"

"Um. Ariel?"

"Ariel!"

"Yes?" Ariel pops her head out a door in the hallway "I hope this is important, I was in a dance off with my shadow. I was winning" proud

"Ariel!"

"That's me" the satyr faun beams, and she trots up to give her friends hugs, then looks at the box, the stick, and the prizes under "Hey now, THAT'S suspicious"

"And very unfair. Perhaps even RUDE!"

"It's a challenge!"
