Her attention is immediately with the 'Fire. She crosses to it, sits on the stones.

Her fingers trail in the flames.

Gerd realizes something is up, and grows attentive and reaches for her mace and shield just in case.

The fire shows an image... Duff, at his shop... attacked!

Jess focuses; attacked by what or who?

Nunehi...

"TO ARMS! I NEED A COMBAT TEAM!" Jess grabs her maul.

Gerd says "Need a quicksilver?"

Thane Coy moves up "Move it, folks!"

"We have to go through the street out there, Gerd. Can't risk getting noticed for moving faster than people can move."

"Understood. " She says and clearly intends to go with "But you might need me to flicker flash him here for healing if he's wounded"

"If you want to come, we're going." Jess leave the freehold at a jog, assuming the team will follow.

The team moves with practiced ease. Coy's trained them well in DeBuke response times. Delphine the satyress moves faster and asks "Want me to go ahead, boss?"

"Yep. Be careful."

She kicks in satyr speed, not as likely to risk the Right of ignorance

Jess makes as much speed as she can while observing the Escheat.

Jessica turns after, along with her crew. To Mortal eyes, what they come across must look like some sort of gang hit by indigenious youth.... but to enchanted/fae eyes it is more of something out of the wild west

After all, Jess -could- just be bringing some friends by her apartment.

The nunnehi are careless with their own cantrips. .. moving like blurs with their on quick silvers but so far not noticed

There's a race to Duff's?

Not quite. The nunnehi are attacking Duff's.. and using quick silver to do it. But yes, Jessica is now at the scene. At least five nunehi in view, likely more

A few are in Duff's place stabbing at him with spears

"HEY BATTERBATTERBATTERBATTER SWING!!! BATTER!!!" Jess plows in, attacking; HOLLYSTRIKE!

And she strikes one raider breaking ribs and taking them out of the fight with a hollystrike!

Delphine is already flipping one over another. Duff's gun booms like a canon. Coy calls out "Flying Wedge" and the other thanes break apart the bulk of the raiders own formation

Jess doesn't let herself get distracted; she fights to wound and disable, not to kill... but, if she must? She will.

Gerd turns and concentrates. Several weapons in the raider's hands LURCH free, hopscotched to the top of a roof!

"HECANNOTHECANNOTHECANNOTHECANNOT SWING BATTAH!!!" WHACK

Suddenly out numbered, and some disarmed, only three remain standing among the would be raiders ,and they try to flee!

Not if Jess can help it. Trip them, bind them, hold them.... but avoid killing them if possible.

Gerd tackles one, while Jessica trips another! The last one finds himself in an arm lock

And just like that? It's over

If her people are secured, she looks to check on Duff.

Duff is alive, but badly wounded

"Secure the prisoners! Anyone with healing help??"

"On it, " Delphine says "Not the best healer, but I keep a treasure that does a little"

"Help Duff."

She steps back to get an overall view.

She does so, taking out a small flask and having him take a drink

And Jessica gets a view. Looks like one daughter of eve, about 16 years old, peeking, and looking ready to record what looks like a gang fall out and arrest by some community group lead by a tall blonde?

She puts her back to the camera. "Someone .... Ignorance." and a small gesture.

Coy makes a gesture of his own, and relies on an old DeBuke standby, chicnary. The girl looks confused, and wanders off rather than recording. The Thane Commander looks a bit drained, but it worked

"That should do it" He mutters

Duff ssays "Thank you, I had them, but thank you"

"Ok, let's pull things in. Less in public, everyone."

"Welcome." to Duff.

"You look good , Jessica. Still dangerous as ever" Duff says approvingly

Coy says "Some of the Nunnehi are wounded too. "

"How badly?" to Coy.

"One is Chimerically dead, grim but they'll wake up. This one however is bleeding out, or would be if Gerd here hadn't staunched his wounds"
