"Oh." a world of understanding in that syllable.

"Mm my poor life choices aside, he's making a good show, but he'll be fighting a few of my warriors soon"

"The Nunnehi visit the Pitt, don't they?" she knows full well they do "How is that?"

"Better and better, more friendships where before it was more required team work" she answers "i've pried a bit"

"Pried or... um, got involved?

A brow, not trollish "I've spied on them, with good intentions, of course"

"Well. They've been spying on us, I assume, hopefully with the same intent. Um. Nothing more than that?"

"oh I learned a few things but most of it positive and confirming what you thought"

"Ok." she seems satisfied.

A nod then her eyes light up juust a bit when Jack takes down his foe, then she sighs as if how inappropriate that is

In as much as Jess doesn't want people in her personal life, she doesn't put herself in the personal lives of others.

And so it goes, on a practical side, the Pitt seems to have a mandatory bar of expertise in combat being at least this good. Even their drink servers know the basics of melee

"Your people may well need to step up as things drag along." Jess says to Mitra "You have already contributed more warriors than any other 'Hold but...."

A curious "Step up? Of course if required, but have some of my people been slacking?"

"No, but we're running thin with all the extra patrols and standing posts."

"Ah," A nod "A few of them aren't as eager for guard duty or patrols, but in times of need I'd like to think they'll suck it up"

"Let me know if I can sweeten the deal at all."

That actually gets a laugh "Well, yes, we're not so pure that wouldn't work."

She chuckles a little.

"But don't let them empty the treasury"

"Of course not." she agrees.

The events unfold, Jessica and Mitra observe and comment, and Mitra asks "Your people don't seem to be slacking too much"

"They'd better not." staunchly.

"That a gal" Mitra dares, though she says it quietly, "I mean, for a hold so tied to healing especially, but you're right. They better not"

"We can't afford it."

"The goodnews is our allies seem impressed"

A deep breath. "It -is- good news." she agrees.

"Craft sales are going well too" A smirik "Thouogh I think some of the more traditional craftsmen and the Skyhookd modern types may YET come to blows"

"Well, it's Penons. What would Pennons be without a fight at the crafting tent?" resignedly.

"It's the artistic temperament at work" Mitra pats her friend's arm gently

"Also, nockers and boggans in the same room.

"Or tent." she corrects.

"And folks wonder why we sidhe were able to take over against overwhelming odds" Mitra mutters

"Mmm. Sovereign might have had something to do with it too."

"Nonsense" but she nods in contrast to her words "We were just clearly that darn loved"

Then they hear an arguement in the crafts area intensify
