"Honor" Johnny speaks up "More a personal honor though. "

Otem frowns "So they put their own honor ahead of even thier tribe.. pardon, house. Perhaps other Daireann will not support him then?"

"I'm hoping that's the case. Let them deal with him, if we can find one allied to the Duke. I don't there there are any Daireanne, allied or not, in the County. Except maybe Alejandro."

"If there is, it would probably be at Tidemarch's place" Demos says "He's got most of the unseelie houses there"

"Once I hear from the Duke, Lord Tidemarch will be first on my visiting/chat list."

"That maybe a while even at high speed"

"Perhaps so, but I don't want to alienate anyone till we know what the Duke will send. Or won't."

Nods all around

"If we find these agents," Demos says "You want them taken prisoner, I know. so you can question them. But that will draw attention as folks will realize we have prisoners and the secret of WHY might come out. How do you want us to handle that?"

"If we can get a couple of prisoners, who know something, then I think we might as well say so. Let the cat out of the bag at that point. Alejandro will figure out we have his operatives, right?" she looks around for confirmation.

Demos nods

"So it seems. " Otem nods "If we , of the nunnehi find them first, our elders may insist we hold them instead, but you will be told"

"If you of the Nunnehi find him first, I would appreciate being told. I would negotiate for the keeping of them, and of their leader."

A nod from Otem "I shall make sure it is known if it should happen."

"Thank you."

"What else, then?" she looks around.

Johnny says "The Nunnehi maybe targets, as you said. Maybe the spirit world can give warning. WIth your and otem's permission, I'll do some casting"

"You have my permission." she nods.

"I'll see what I can learn from some ancestors and other sacred spirits" Johnny considers

"You're welcome, Jessica. I'll have to get some Sage grass"

"Let me know if you need help getting it."

Otem looks at Jessica with concern "I admit, I am worried there wil lbe an attack on YOU, Jessica. If nunnehi slay you, your people will never trust mine again."

She nods. "Another reason Nancy's taking care of a few things. Mostly, I'll stay here. At least there will be the Escheat and a certain home-court advantage. And why the car is within the atrium walls."

"Ariel and Selma are going to join Ellie at Skyhook for a sleep over with Shuri. I might send Holger with them along with a wilder escort of warriors to get them there."

Her jaw clenches briefly but she says "It's your call. People you can trust." she doesn't LOVE that idea, though.

Otem frowns "Duff is... effective but he is not needed"

Phobos snorts at that "I'll see who we can get"

Otem turns, then, has the decency to look chagrinned, "Of course."

She's not angry or upset. Well, not at Otem.
