She sees a fire escape. Not meant to be climbed up but as tall as she is she can make it

"Anyone want a boost?" She offers, as well as sending others around the building to keep watch.

Phobos nods "you give me a boost, and I'll give you a hand up after if you need it"

Jessica nods, adjusts her gear, and boosts away.

Soon, both are up. Demos is looking over some chimerical tracks in the gravel on top.

Troll keen eyes notice something. The fan up here.. the trail goes around it

She gestures to Demos, and indictes he goes around one side, she goes around the other, and she hefts her maul.

Demos nods and does so.

Two people not especially built for creeping, creep across and around the rooftop.

That's when Demos bites through the fan

Reavealing the Chupacabra!

And a wave of magic fear bursts from it

Neither Bloodthirsty Redcap, nor duty bound troll, budge from the fear attack

"Smash it" Demos suggests

Jessica pauses, instead; is the creature hostile or aggressive?

The creature has blood on it's fangs. It's been hostile to something, but seems more interested in fleeing

She sighs. "Phobos, I think you would enjoy this, and I would not." She pauses and asks the chimera "Can you speak? Communicate?" In Spanish.

And it leaps to get away! If it speaks Spanish it certainly isn't bothering to.

But as it leaps, Phobos and Low Low both go after the thing.

Jessica follows but intends to let the redcaps have it.

The Chupacobra fights and snaps, but it's a big mistake to get into a biting contest with redcaps. Really big. Huge.

Soon, the creature is pulled apart like an ugly doll in demand with a mob of those wanting to 'play with it' though a better metaphor might involve a taffy pull... if the taffy were chimerical ligaments

just like that, blood splats, guts expose

and the glamour of the chimera flows into the wind.

Jess leave it to the redcaps and makes her way back down to the street.

"Hey boss, breath it in, you earned this. Nothing like glamour from a kill" Phobos suggests

"Oh, I'm good. Gotta keep the balance, you know. You earned it."

Sounds of the frenzy resume

She heads down.

She waits a bit, now at ground level, and Demos soon joins her "Phobos and Low Low wanna 'patrol' together"

"So unless you need em?" He adds

She pauses a moment, then shakes her head. "Not unless you do."

"Nah" He says and readies to follow the Countess "Good eyes up there. That little shit almost got away. You did good, boss"

"Thank you, but it was a team effort."

"True but you're welcome anyway. Look, I won't go into details, but having tasted that thing and ate it's glamour I can tell you that it had marks on it like prods? Before we devoured it that is. I think someone pushed it into the city. Don't know who, but the signs are there"

She frowns, looking briefly guilty, but then nods. "I'll talk to Otem. Chupacabras are native; maybe he knows something."

"If they don't we won't be any stupider for asking" HE says "And you did good. THose things terrify satyrs. You helped protect your people... it's good"

And whether she listens or not, Demos said his piece. As they return to Fenix
